G'head, g'head!

I just wanted to apologize for my lack of being around for the past few days, and let you know that I'll be back in the thick of it here in a few days. The AC adapter for my laptop got busted and it's really difficult to be online constantly, like I usually am, when my computer isn't portable.

So...where are your characters Right Now!

Lillian: Her mom is currently in a nursing home rehabilitation facility while she recovers from hip surgery. Her Dad is going a bit crazy not having her Mom in the house. The medications she's on have been tweaked according to her stress. She is currently at 4 hours of sleep per night. She is currently making straight As and higher. She loves her boyfriend Ethan. <3

Eliza: Her family is doing very well since moving to Lima. Her youngest sister has something of a crush on Blake. Her grandmother Mitzi is currently back in Idaho, toasting the "ladies who lunch" ha ha. Eliza is having what she thinks are tummy troubles, but will eventually knock her for a loop. She is doing some modeling for a boutique in Columbus about once a month.

Edie: Is doing about as well as can be expected. She isn't talking much and is still on the Cheerleading squad. Her Dad is very apologetic and is greatly regretting their move to Lima.

Quinn: Is doing very well. She's still on the honor roll (though on the lower end of it, currently), and Sarah is healthy and happy and starting to learn to walk. Sarah will also be having her 1 year old birthday soon! She and Puck are fantastic, thank you very much.

Burt Hummel: He's Kurt's Dad, so of course, he's constantly facepalming. He and Carole are still dating at this time. He's planning to ratchet things up a notch, though. <3

So...how are your peeps doing? Spout off in the comments!

Namely, I would love your ideas on how to make him more active in the game (and maybe have a shot at a relationship with Tina). There's no risk of me dropping him, just that I want to have more fun playing the character :)

I'm not inclined to reboot him so that he's back in McKinley with everyone else, but would at least like to give him more opportunities to interact with the other characters.

One of the ideas I'm toying with is to have him leave college and go back to Lima for a year - either he transfers to the community college to get his grades back up, or he asks for a leave of absence because freshman year was more difficult than he thought and it burned him out. I think either option is realistic and not unexpected for someone like Artie, and I besides giving him more time in Lima, it also gives him the opportunity to mope around and be angsty for a bit.

Or maybe he just needs to get out more when he's home from college on weekends.

Please let me know what you guys think! As I said, any of your ideas would be greatly appreciated!

As some of you may already know, this is Cara bringing to you Miss Brittany Susan Pierce, recently named by the Sartorialist as the Trendiest Girl in America. (Hence the username, which I admit sounds kind of blah but I couldn't think of anything else that wasn't already taken.)

Joan did an awesome job playing Britt a while back and we had one or two people take the role after that, so I guess we can consider this one a reboot? Anyway, I am more or less adopting her from canon up to this point (but am ignoring that on the show, Britt 1) made out with Kurt, 2) is currently dating Artie, and 3) lost the magic comb). She's not very bright but kind to everyone, and is starting to assert herself so she's not above tooting her own horn sometimes.

Brittany is also bisexual, so she might refer to hooking up with the occasional guy, but Santana is of course the closest to her, as evidenced by the large number of Brittana icons that our girl already has :)

As for lines, I know that she is going to be happy in the chorus for American Idiot (except she wants a chance to show off her dance moves) and is absolutely fascinated with Baby Sarah, but apart from that, please let me know if there's anything in which you'd like her to get involved!

PS I guess I should also mention here that I'm dropping Carole to make room for Britt. Carole is also a dear, but I don't quite know what to do with her since we currently don't have a Finn. With Brittany, there doesn't seem to be an end to the possibilities :D

Back in the olden days of the 80's, there was a little movie with Val Kilmer (omg so hot) called Real Genius. It was a real cute and geeky movie about a 15 year old kid who gets accepted at this MIT-esque university to develop laser technology.

One of the characters (who the 15 year old has a crush on) is a girl named Jordan: and now, here are some ultra awesome clips ( behind the cut )

Quick question. Santana really, really wants to bitch out Karofsky and I was going to write a narrative for it. Does anyone have an objection to that? I didn't want to accidentally step on anyone's toes because they'd already planned on doing something that I would be interfering with.

So! What did you think of the two episodes this week? I thought the SB episode I could take or leave but the Valentine's day one was super awesome.

Give us your take on the episodes, and while you're at it... what do you want to incorporate for your characters?

Korean Glee!

(Please pardon the wheezing - I think the crying guy in the scene is featured in the show largely for comic relief.)

This clip is from an ongoing drama called Dream High, which is about a bunch of kids in a pop star factory performing-arts school. The main characters are from the "cool" and "underdog" groups, and honestly the main girl (an aspiring soprano who had to give up Juilliard because her father's gambling debts bled the family dry) reminds me a lot of Rachel, and one of the main guys reminds me of Finn because he's a big hulking galoot - except the Korean version can dance.

A lot of the main characters are pop stars IRL, not actors, so the acting isn't perfect, but it's been fun seeing a Glee-type storyline retold in another cultural context.

If you are interested, you can find a recap of Episode 1 here, and videos of all the episodes thus far (with English subtitles) here. :D There are only going to be 16 episodes and Eps 10-11 were aired this week, so there's quite a bit available for viewing already, and it's only going to be several hours out of your life - unless you're like my mom, who watches the whole thing and then looks for bloopers online :-p

Oh my gosh, hi! This is Lauren, your resident and recently super MIA Sam Evans. :) Anyway, I'm finally in a position where I can actually be active, so I'm back!

So is there anything I need to catch up on? What have I missed? I'm sure I'm mega behind!

...but it's epic. So very epic.

Okay, so a million years ago, before the Dawn of Time, Jon and I discussed the kids doing 'American Idiot' for a musical. I had it all cast and then things kept coming up and people kept disappearing and yes. But I still want them to do it.

Here is the cast I have come up with so far:

There are a lot of bit parts to cast so everybody will have something to do. And if anybody up there doesn't want their character in that role, just let me know and I'll recast. That's the wonder of fictional musicals! And anybody who wants their kid in it but I haven't cast them yet, also let me know (they don't necessarily have to be in Glee, as it will be an off-campus production like RENT.)

There will be a post about it in the RP as soon as I figure out how to get this thing off the ground.

My cat died yesterday and he was like my baby and I'm being all weird about it. And now I'm coming down with the flu or something and guh. I'll do what I can but I'm probably going to be kind of scarce for a few days. I don't know. I don't know what my brain is doing at the moment. We shall see.

Ugh, I SUCK and I'm so sorry for disappearing! :( The holidays ate me alive, and now that they're over my work load is ridiculous. Life is craaazy right now, so unfortunately I'm going to have to put myself on hiatus until I get into the swing of things. I do love playing with you all, though, and I will most definitely be back! In the meantime, Sam is being his usual weird, body image obsessed self. ;) ♥

Hi, this is Dhi, I hate to say this but I’m just so terribly overwhelmed at home and with game stuff that I’m actually dropping all my games except the ones I run, and my PSLs.

I really loved playing in all these games, I loved my ships and all the friends I made IC and OOC, feel free to hit me up on AIM (gleestud) or email me (betweenthestars at gmail dot com). If anyone wouldn’t mind a slow replier I can always do a new PSL. I’d go on hiatus if I thought that it would work, but honestly I can’t not look at games and to take a proper hiatus I would really hold a lot of people back.
