B-Day [Quinn & Kurt, Quinn & Puck, open to all later on]

She'd been dragging all day long.

Quinn barely got through her first few periods, barely got through lunch, barely ate anything at all, and near the end of lunch, she nearly felt as if she was going to die. She was tired. But she couldn't go home, not when there were so many things yet to do, time was flying, and there was still a Spanish test to take.

But now it was becoming unbearable. After lunch, she'd had an extra-long bathroom break (she didn't think she'd drunk that much orange juice), and now she was running late. On her way to Spanish, she was dragging so much she could barely move. Her back hurt, her sides hurt, and she had to stop and lean against the wall for a moment.

Halfway through it, she realized that this wasn't a Braxton-Hicks contraction. This was real.

And she'd had the same feeling right before she'd left lunch, right before she'd gone to the bathroom.

Her eyes widened and she looked around, spotting Kurt a few feet away.

"Kurt! Kurt, wait up!" She hurried after him, once she could move away from the wall.

New Years Eve, Viv's house, anyone and everyone!

Viv sits in her living room, knitting...something. It had started out as a scarf and then turned into a hat and then turned into a mitten.

It wasn't that she was bad at knitting...just indecisive.

She had sent out an invite a while back about New Years Eve and spending it with her new friends, but honestly, she wouldn't have been surprised if no one showed. She felt sometimes that she had been trying too hard to make friends. Her old New York demeanor of ignoring everyone else had started to rub off and when loneliness had set in, she had become...

...well, desperate.

Still, she sits and waits, knitting quietly as Cat sits beside her and claws at her ball of lime green yarn.

[Winter Snow Ball - Saturday evening - WMHS Gym - Open to all! THNM]

An arch decorated with blue and silver bunting was set up in the lobby for pictures of the happy couples.

The gym was all decked out in blue and silver, a large balloon centerpiece hung from the ceiling. A refreshment table sat to the side of the room, with cookies and punch (no spiking, please!) and a portion of the bleachers were open if anyone needed to sit. And music was being provided by a kid from the A/V club a 'local DJ'...

All in all, this was about as classy and magical as McKinley High got...especially considering the budget constraints...
