New Directions

[OOC: Chris, I know we said that you'd post this, but judging by the Will/Emma threads, it makes more sense that Emma would approach Ken, I think. I hope you don't mind!]

Emma takes a deep breath when she arrives at Ken's door. She promised Will that she'd be honest, and honest she would be.

Still, her heart is beating like she's never felt it beat before.

She knocks at the door and opens it slowly, peeking her head in.

"Ken?"

...here goes.

After being tripped by a freshman with braces on the way back to her office, Sue was in a bad mood. She had threatened the boy and told him that if he ever so much as grinned in her general direction, she would find the nearest kid with braces, shove their faces together and ensure that they were stuck that way forever.

( It would take more than an episode of Whoopi Goldberg making an idiot out of herself on the View to cheer Sue Sylvester up today. )

After the break bell rang, there played an announcement that Finn, Puck, Kurt, Mike and Matt needed to come to Coach Tanaka's office. Ken was certainly there, waiting patiently for them to show up. He had hoped they did. He had to talk to them, or else it would be over. Something had to be done.

( The team had lost. Again. )
