So, I've been checking you people out. Mostly. And while Morpheus has a big mouth and my dad is special I'm sure most of you know who I am by now but hi. I'm Merlin or Liam.

Has someone yet explained this special place to you, Lena? Or have they neglected? Because someone had better steel you for what's to come now that you're one of us. Here, that is.

It's weird, now that I'm no longer making flowers appear everywhere I kinda miss them. Smokey really digs the bunny I found in the tub though, so I guess that's a plus.

I know this might seem sudden, but now that things have calmed down for the time being I was wondering if you'd like to come for dinner sometime. I can invite Thanatos, and you could even bring a friend if you want. It's no biggie if you don't want to, but I figured I'd offer.

Ah, so, look. I, well, I feel like I am interrupting something here. Something odd, really. But I am only here because my cousin would not stop pestering sending me these invites.

And St. Patrick's Day is almost upon us. Which isn't me going on and inquiring about your plans. Someone else can poke about and ask all what they'll be doing. I'm sure you all can gather and have fun that way, too. Those of you that can drink. Those who can't...you'll find a way.

Was thinking about heading away for the weekend but changed me mind after arranging a little something with freckled and easy on the eyes.

We'll worry about introductions, family issues and other nonsense after the weekend.

Beauty is something ever changing. They say someone has 'classic' looks or maybe someone's looks are narrowed down to their background. And then it's what attracts us. Beautiful bone structure, graceful movement. Perfect skin and pearly white teeth. That's typical. Perhaps some don't love a well-proportioned body, maybe they like someone more skin and bones. Maybe someone likes another more fleshy, something to really be able to touch without the fear of hurting them.

What is beauty to you? Is it a man with perfect broad shoulders and a bit of scruff on his face? A woman with an hourglass figure? Do you prefer someone more androgynous? Someone a certain age? A certain colouring? Or do you not even care and only want someone for what they have inside? That their true beauty lies in their nature and you're not at all superficial? I'd normally call bullshit on anyone who thinks looks don't matter even one percent but considering blind people have a sense of beauty of their own...well. You had better be nearly blind. Otherwise I will call bullshit.

That on the side, I'm going to indulge myself in doing a shoot again. My favourite photographer won't stop begging. And if anyone thinks my age could be a roadblock, then you don't know the power of my breasts of true beauty.

Anyway, I need to leave Sophie with one of my lovely relations because she's developed quite a temper...again. I can't take her with me this weekend. Not Agravaine, until he's come down some throat-related issue that prevents him from swearing every few seconds. I do love you, my child, but you have a filthy tongue unsuitable for a child's ears.

I got a postcard from my parents today, saying they missed me and were hoping I was doing well. I'm going to write them a letter to tell them all about how awesome things are for me. It's so weird, I think this is the longest I've stayed in one place since I was seventeen. Unless you count that whole weird past two months... I've got so much here, that I haven't even thought about traveling or anything. Well, except marriage. And kids. With Hypnos. But still.

We've gotten some great new cookie recipes down at the bakery, and since the weather's been getting nicer there's been a lot of kids coming in. I love seeing their little faces light up when we give them cookie samples!

Oh, Thanatos, I saw this and thought of you -

I just touched down in New York. Charming place, I must say. But not ten minutes on the road, and another taxi hurtles right toward mine. Fortunate that my driver had the good sense to swerve at the last moment. There are unbecoming dents on both vehicles, of course, but we're most pleased to be walking off with all our limbs intact.

Anyway, this community is rather persistent with its invites, isn't it? Quite troublesome, really, but I'll bite. There are more than a few beautifully familiar faces, after all. Why would I bother denying myself your wonderful company?

The last few months are this weird fuzzy blur, like if I drank continuously for them. However, this is all okay because I have bagels~ askdkadjaksdjalka and I love bagels.
