Anubis hadn't really talked to anyone since suddenly being shifted back in time. Then again, his aunt had taken to stealing his journal and hiding it places before trying to introduce him to young women that he was meant to be going on dates with or something.

As far as he was concerned, every date had been a disaster and he was bored. Apparently putting two quiet people into a dinner situation didn't really make for interesting times. Go figure.

Instead, he was just continuously bored or either terribly horrified by the women his aunt set him up with. Really, he ought to have called Bastet and asked her to pretend to be his girlfriend, but the idea hadn't really occurred to him until it was too late. He'd have to write something eventually to his family, but he'd deal with that later.

Right now he needed a nap.

The 50's weren't too bad for me. It's not like I had anything to complain about. I did notice a pair of Buddy Holly glasses made it back with me. Not that I'm complaining...

What I will complain about is not having the power to see into the future. I'm not liking this "final showdown" talk, and I would like to know what that means. I've never been one to back down from a fight, so I'm not going to start now, but I don't want to, well, die before reaching my goal. How annoying would that be? How sad would that be? How... Everyone gets the point...

Right... So, is THis SuPPoseD to scare me? It's not. It's just irritating to read. And why do I have to be stronger against someone. I was am pretty damn strong already. Guess I have to do that wait and see thing.

This past week I found myself in jail. I pissed off the wrong people. I'm glad that's over. It was nothing I couldn't handle, but I still didn't enjoy the experience. It was interesting to note the differences.
