[They had been staring at each other for six minutes now, not blinking. The little fairy was just beating it's wings, staring at the giant and probably studying him. Sure Raphael figured that he was going a little crazy, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to appreciate his crazy while it was around. The fairy seemed just as content to study as he was though. Every time he had tried to talk to it, he couldn't understand a thing it said, so after a while he gave up. It sort of seemed like she understood though. Was it a she? He didn't know how to ask without coming across like an ass.

Finally he blinked, which seemed to make the fairy pleased. Like she had won or something. He kind of smiled back and then went into the kitchen to grab some food and offer it to the little fairy. Just as he turned around to find her, he realized that she wasn't there. A second later he felt a sharp stabbing pain in his earlobe.

The fairy had bitten him. On the ear. This was so weird. He went to his keyboard and typed.]

Is anyone else's fairy teething? They like to play staring games too. Oh and does anyone know how to tell a boy fairy from a girl fairy or do they not have genders? I don't want to insult anyone.

I'm so thrilled to be back dealing with this mess. I'm not in the city just yet but it appears I have a companion. He's been...interesting.

I've become a father! It took me awhile to tell people, because I wanted to make sure if it was a boy or girl. After a very long stare, I've decided it's a he. His name is Bob. And he's a chip off the old block. Last night, he painted a masterpiece on my wall. It's abstract. Very creative use of white space. I'm so proud of him.
