Home sweet awkward home. SAMYAZA! I woke up to the sounds of crying only to fall right out of my bed...and realize that I'm in my house in New York again, which left me a little confused...because I didn't LEAVE with any small children that are young enough to cry. LONG STORY SHORT, I HAVE NEW SIBLINGS THAT I AM PRETTY SURE I DIDN'T HAVE BEFORE BUT I HAVE APPARENTLY HAD FOR A WHILE AND IF YOU CAN GUESS THEIR NAMES, I'LL GIVE YOU...umm...A GOLD STAR!

FOR THE LOVE OF JESUS! On that note, I'm raiding the wine. I think I both need and deserve it.

Uh huh. Uh huh. Well, that was interesting.

I also work up with Benz licking my toes. I'm conflicted how I feel about this only because I wish it had someone else doing that. I won't say who. It's not classy to say such things.

Does anyone else feel something doesn't feel quite right yet?

I've never been so grateful for Starbucks. That was a fun time but I can't say I'd want to do it again. Well, I'm sure you all know what I mean by that.

It occurred to me this morning after I got over waking up to spooning with Merlin that there's so much that I could say about what happened, or about the years of therapy I might need after finding some guy chained up in my basement (who would have scared the pants off me, had I been wearing any), but I'm not going to. I'm not even going to ask why there was some stranger in the basement -- like if this is some sort of kinky Fifty Shades of Grey thing do tell -- though I will toot my own horn by letting it be known that I freed him, because I'm awesome like that.

Instead, I'm just going to sum up everything with the following --

cut for length and silliness )

[Waking up to find a frog in her pocket was not exactly the most amazing wake-up for her. The fact that it jumped on her face made it even less so. After capturing it in a tupperware container, she poked holes in the top. She'd have to get it a place to live...if only for her children's sake.

And then it hit her.

The boys. They weren't here. She felt an intense urge to search for them, but she knew she wouldn't find them. She was home now and they were gone. It was as it should have been...but she still felt sad. She would deal with it on her own. There was no need to involve Aidan.]

I seem to attract frogs. Even now.

[ The last time this had happened, Morgan had immediately searched for comfort in her own home. This time, it was different. To wake up meant living behind something. The comfort of a home which had been hers, a man she felt close to, another sister by the name of the one she still missed. To come back to NYC was bittersweet. And she wasn't sure what to feel ]

I guess. It's back to normal on this side. Everyone okay, no harm done, nothing to deal with?

And while we're on the questions who doesn't mind for me to stick around for a whole afternoon? I might need someone to help me figure out something. Nothing. Ah, I might need either ice cream or alcohol. Both? Mixed.

Originally I was thinking party but now I'm thinking I'll just sit in the living room and play video games.

And drink.

A lot.

Ridiculous amounts. I miss my son
