[War wasn't awake; a few hours ago she had been, and in a moment of clear lack of self-preservation, tried to get out of bed. She'd tore the stitches open, punched five nurses and was strapped to the bed.

It was a sad thing, one of the doctors had commented, that such a young girl had been attacked by a gang of hooligans. War would've liked to correct him, she could take them on; plus that hadn't been what really happened.

She didn't even get to argue, War continued sleeping as her mortal, adoptive parents sat out in the hallway.]

I have a new found dislike for extended hospital stays. I also hate jello. I may have thrown it at the nurse who told me I had to eat my dinner.

Don't throw when injured. It tugs on all the stitches on one's side. Really not advisable.
