Operation: Find New Apartment has hit a snag. Apparently, I got really lucky when I got my current place, because everywhere I look people are asking for references. While I have no idea what kind of questions someone would ask one of these so-called references ('does she keep a clean place, pay her rent on time?') I can't think of anyone to ask to help me out.

Guess that's one of the few problems with trying to stay mysterious keeping to oneself. Ah well, in the meantime my neighbor got arrested, so it's been quieter around here. Guess that's one thing in my favor.

I don't care for introductions, but here I am. Must we eventually meet, you may know me briefly as Lottie. I must have slipped up somewhere, but I really cannot recall. How long have I been torn from myself. Such a messy predicament.

Does anybody need maple syrup? Somehow I ended up with five bottles when I meant to get eggs, and I don't think I can eat that many pancakes. As delicious a challenge it may be, I lack the eggs required to make them.

I need a good photographer. Who knows one? Nightshade is going to have a lovely new event soon and I will require the services of a couple photographers. Seriously, great new idea and I will be requiring only the best!

I'm kidding, darlings. But who of you had the beginnings of a heart attack and who thought 'oh that poor unborn child'? I always like to know what to count with.
