Dear Hannibal,

Thank you for seeing this young man whom I have medically treated for intentional (I believe) overdose and with a past history of drug intoxication and mixed depression stemming from a difficult break up in his relationship.

He has a strong predilection towards addictive behaviour and displays emotionally manipulative traits in order to get what he wants, regardless of his own or others' welfares. I am not comfortable releasing him from the hospital until at least a cursory psychological assessment and counselling by yourself.

I would be very grateful if you could help in this matter.
