[Steven's having a Billy Joel day, playing a few albums on his record player while he's tidying up some of his books, and his phone decides to broadcast him singing along to this one. He's really quite good, too. And has no idea that his phone is being an arse.]

[Miguel is in the room in Henry's apartment that he's staying in, making his way through a six-pack of beer and reading through a load of science papers he found in Sarah's book collection earlier in the day. His phone is playing a load of twencen music, a playlist that he'd found that bounces between songs from the 1950s right up to the year 1999. Miguel doesn't know all of them, but Xina has taught him enough of them, and he's drank enough beer that he's singing along softly with some of them. His voice is okay but it's quiet and completely untrained so he's not able for really low notes or any super-high ones - he just doesn't sing those bits.]

Dan is busy writing up notes and doing paperwork, and singing to himself as he works. Naturally, his phone is taking advantage of this. This can be heard over the CB radio part of the phones, followed by this followed by this followed by a muttered "Fucking hell, stupid phone." And then it goes quiet.

This is roughly home, with an exception of Erandur it is way before any of you were born, and after my death. There is no way to get to the states, but by long boat, or magical means. We can be explained away by 'the will of the gods', and it wont be questioned, but in the christian world you could be captured tried and put to death. So I ask, be careful.

I know that the last few months have been very rough on us. Still, this my favorite time of the season, so, I wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or what you may celebrate.
