Dearest sir, I thank you for the ticket, but I fear I could not possibly travel without a companion. If you proceed to suggest any companions other than yourself, I will be forced to do something drastic that would involve an eternity's worth of stubborn chin tilting. As for being a poor correspondent, I believe you are going to have to allow me the pleasure of making that decision. With that said, you owe me a letter. If I do not receive it before night falls, I cannot be held responsible for my actions.
