[Posted Friday afternoon]

so i figure its been like 4 days since i got back and i'm not allowed to 'do anything terrible to myself' so why not use this thing again plus i finally found the stupid invitaton under the couch so i have a question about this masqer fuck it masked ball thing. i went to the last one and it was okay till those people died.

i was wondering if people think the building will do something if someone decides not to go. and if so then what. except theyll have drinks and its free i haven't decided if i'm going yet but if i'm just going to end up there anyway or somewhere like antarctica because the building is pissed then i guess maybe i should. except i think im kind of crazy and not really stable maybe ill be the one who drowns in the well this time, probably a lot less painful than jumping off the fire escape anyway

hey illy are you going? ...fuck i should not be typing things or talking to people ugh

Inspector Luther,

I don't believe that we have ever spoken before. My name is Dr. Archer, and I am in need of some advice from a man of the law such as yourself. I have examined the forums in order to come up with your name, and you seem to be a reputable officer of the law. As I have said, I need your help. Here is my situation.

A friend of mine has begun to waste away. Over the last two weeks, she has lost a dramatic amount of weight and exhibits an interrupted and erratic sleep pattern. To say that I'm concerned about her well-being is an understatement. I have questioned her about her health, and she repeatedly rebuffs me.

I have come to the conclusion that the only proper course of action is to take her to the hospital for treatment. My question for you, Inspector Luther, is: would this be considered abduction? It will most certainly be against her will, and I'm sure that she will be displeased with what I'm going to do. But it's for her own good, and I have reason to believe that she will suffer long-lasting damage if she is not given medical treatment soon.

If this is an illegal act, then I only ask that you not impede me. After she is safely in the care of professionals, I would of course not evade any repercussions of my actions.

Any assessment of this situation or input that you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Regards,

Dr. Archer

[After Tegan wakes up, Locked as a group to D2B, 1202A, 1104, 1004, 904, 905A, 703, 401. Basically those who've been helping with the boys or them.]

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to give everyone an update and, again, thank you all for helping out while things have been [...] pretty nuts.

Good news though is that Tegan woke up last night. They've moved her to her own room and she's awake. Not totally coherent or talking yet, but her prognosis is pretty hopeful. I attached the room information in case you want to see her now she's awake or just send your get well stuff.

For the people that were there though [...] she probably won't remember you right now. She doesn't really remember anything that happened to why she'd be in the hospital. Doctors say it's the mind's way to escape trauma and stuff I still can't remember the details of my mom's so

I'm taking the boys up to visit her today. So, I don't need anybody to stop by and check up, since they'll be with me.

Again. Thanks for this, everyone. I don't think I'd have been able to do this without your help.

[Posted on the evening of the 23rd]

As we've had a recent influx of new residents in the building, I decided a public announcement is in order. If you aren't aware, the Full Moon is on Saturday. The sun will set at approximately 8:31 PM - and this is when the changes will occur.

Those of you who travelled through time recently or have been here for the transformations before, know the drill. When the sun sets our fictional counterparts come out to varying degrees. They can be dangerous and it's best advised that you either lock yourself in your apartment or head down to the safe room in 109. Last month, the building took care of things - but we can't rely on it now. It's best to be prepared and if they move us again, it cannot hurt.

If you are in need of any assistance, please reply to this post - likewise, if you or loved ones are the hospital, we can only hope that they'll be alright there.

To those of you who helped with the safe room before - your assistance could be used again.

PUBLIC: Written from 103

Hey everyone, nice setup here. Definitely more convenient than a bulletin board in the lobby, that's for sure.

I guess I just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Parker Sullivan and I just moved into room 103 last night.

What to say, what to say... I suppose I ought to mention that I'm new to New York City--I'm from the Midwest originally, but I just graduated out of the University of California, Berkley. Definitely the best four years of my life so far, but things can always get better with new places and people, right?

I've already found the local co-op, recycling center, humane society and Goodwill, but if anyone could point me in the direction of some of the better grocery stores that sell free-range meat and locally grown produce, or a farmer's market, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm also looking for volunteer opportunities, so you if know any centers that are in need of help or would like to swap vegetarian recipes, feel free to knock on my door any time. It's covered in posters and newsletters, so it's really hard to miss.

By the way, thanks to whoever left the cookies in the lobby--the vegan ones were awesome.

[Early morning on the 19th, after talking to Nick.]

This might seem a bit abrupt, but thanks to the insanity of the building, I've got an issue I need help with. Down on the first floor, a girl lives with her two brothers probably illegally. She was badly hurt during the travels and as a result, her brothers are alone. One of her friends is staying with them, but I think some help might be necessary.

I have to head out of town but will be back on Thursday at the latest - but if any of you are in a position to help, even as an emergency contact for them, I'd appreciate it. If you're not in a postion to - I understand. This last week hasn't been kind to any of us.

[public: did someone mention crazy? -- someone is playing the piano in room 201...]

Ginger ale was in fact invented by a doctor. However, I'm fairly certain that more than one party was involved in the act of its purloining; thus, let us then say that it was naively conspired. Purloined!? Why, yes. All ideas are stolen from the realm of the-not-yet-known. Inevitably, each idea is thrown into a mess of plenty of ideas, of which is called reality. Where it is then evidently carbonated and shuffled with ginger, madagascan vanilla, star anise, and other like spices which are subtle, yet bring out the poignant monologue of the stomach easing ginger ale blend.

What I mean to say, is that mostly anything created by doctors is in fact safe, drinkable, and often edible. For the respect of the brain-children of science, I indulge in medicine. Why don't you? I have a prescription. There's a cold going around. Does anyone have a cold? The sniffles? The wiffles? Feeling unlike yourself? I can help. I'm very helpful and thoughtful. My moon is in Pisces.

nOW FOR MY NEXt trick, I'll need a volunteer--don't fret folks!

... The last one only spent two weeks in the ICU ...

sHOULD i SEE you and feel you may be needing some yourself, I'll do well to suggest for your sake. My observation skills are as astute, impeccable, and infallible as Galileo. I will be able to tell if you have an ailment requiring cough medicine. Of course, my opinion and kindness are all given through the abundance and goodness of my heart, whereas that wretched doctor would tell the world that HE invented ginger ale ALONE and by HIMSELF! For this my face is sad for you.

Jesus Tapdancing Christ! Where the hell have I been? Rhetorical question. I actually plead the fifth regarding my existence for the past however many hours I've been locked in a laboratory with my head up my ass piss drunk gone.

Since everyone is thrilled to see and hear from me once more, I have decided to host a classy get-together for all of my dear friends here. Where and when can be decided at a later date, but for now we can just pick a theme.

Options:

- Recapturing Lost Innocence. Remember those days of your dewy and glowing virginity? ...no? Neither do I. For this party, you'd arrive with someone who wasn't your current partner. If you don't have a partner then just grab someone off the street, it's fine.

- ABC Party. Stands for Anything But Clothes. I'm not talking nakedness because getting arrested is not on the agenda and, well, some of you really need to keep your clothes on for the sake of my retinas. But obviously creativity comes into play here.

- Rave Party. Blacklights, florescent colors, glowsticks. What's to hate about this?

- Wine and Cheese from Around the World. Nerds only.

That's just something to ponder. For those who don't know who I am, I'm Samuel but no one calls me that anymore so Sam is fine. It's shorter and rolls off the tongue easier. I don't do anything like tarot cards or palm readings or seances; I'm actually a scientist of sorts so I can appreciate mental disturbances. It will help me fit in really well around here. You may have also seen me around at various benefits and other charity events - I believe in giving back to the community, and I have a few causes I am strongly devoted to but I don't like to make a big deal out of it. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be seeing you all around at some point. Try not to burn the building down - those stairs can be tricky to navigate when your pants are on fire.

Here goes nothing

Most of you are likely already aware of this, but for those of you that aren't, this building seems to be outside the scope of the law. The police aren't going to help us, and I'm sure some of you have noticed that anything reported to them concerning residents of Bellum is ultimately ignored or forgotten about. This is, obviously, not acceptable. We may be ignored by the city's law enforcement but that does not mean that any of us are above the law. There are people here who have broken the law and others who will do so in the future, so we need a way to ensure that justice still prevails.

Thus, the point of this post: Micah and I have decided that our best plan of action is to set up a tribunal to deal with issues that arise in the building. This tribunal will be made up of five people, and they will be elected. Every resident of the building is allowed one vote, which will be cast anonymously, and the five people with the most votes will make up the tribunal.

I ask that everyone votes for someone whom they believe will be fair and unbiased, preferably without their own ulterior motives or vendettas that may impair their judgment. Also, please don't vote for yourself. This is a serious matter, and I hope that you're all committed to a fair and democratic tribunal. This is not meant to be vigilante justice, but a way to make sure that everyone is safe and those who break the law - which still applies to all of us - are allowed a fair trial to determine the appropriate consequences for their actions.

[...]

You're all probably wondering why now, and there's a good answer for that. One of our residents, Aaron Jacobson, was murdered about a month ago. His body was found buried in the catacombs, and the police investigation into his death is pretty much nonexistent.

We have reason to believe that Trenton in P4 murdered Aaron. Lacking any real police presence, Micah and I arrested him on charges of both murder and rape sorry Boyd and he's currently being held in a safe place pending a trial. This is why the tribunal needs to be set up as quickly as possible. Just because law enforcement has forgotten about us doesn't mean we should stand by and let murderers walk free do nothing. This likely won't be the last time we deal with something like this, either.

Any questions, comments or concerns can go here; while a separate post will follow for voting purposes. Let's see how long it takes for people to complain

Locked to 703

I know we've never met, but Micah needs you down in the catacombs. He needs you to make a cell for Trenton, somewhere to keep him until the trial.
