[not locked since he was in a hurry and forgot to check.]

Gina-

Haven't seen you in a few days, guess the hours at the hospital are long. Thought I'd tell you that I'm going out of town for a few days for business. I'll be back on Saturday afternoon.

I think we should talk.

Take care of yourself. I worry.

Love,
Lucas

[The day after this]

I don't suppose you have any advice for a man who's spilled his secret indentity to the woman he was once engaged to and now has her living in his apartment?

Yes. I am faintly aware that I might have screwed up everything. But I have a back-up She's got a cover There's only two other people on this floor and Hannah hopefully doesn't know who Gina is She said she wouldn't say anything

Riddle me this Bellum - hypothetically, how many of you believe the next Full Moon will go as "planned"? I need to get them out of here if it does

[Locked to 904]

Contract is in your mailbox. Let me know if everything is in order and if anything needs to be changed.

YOU ARE GOING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED YOU FUCKING NUMBSKULL AND WHERE WILL I BE THEN? AND WHAT ABOUT GINA YOU

There were a few mentions of a dinner between the three of us awhile ago. My schedule is open the next week and [...] considering recent events, we might as well get down to business. Lucas, I think I have a plan that will work.

[Locked to P2]

Prideux, it's a shame we've never met in person. Cocktails on me and a chance to trade stories. What do you say?

{Posted 3 days after everybody got back to Bellum}

Hello, everyone! I feel so bad - I've been here for three days and I didn't even notice that we have a forum here for the building! I promise that I'm not unfriendly, though apparently I'm terrible with computers.

Anyway, my name is Gina, and I think you've all met my husband, Lucas. I'm a nurse currently working at the Orange County Hospital and I should have started yesterday but apparently you all managed to stress the nursing staff there into panic mode I had to start two days early so I've been really busy ever since my plane touched down on the runway.

[...]

On that note, I know that a lot of people living in this building are in the hospital. I can't even count how many I've met If any of you need a ride there to see somebody, let me know and you can come with me the next time I have a shift.

Since I don't want to end my first post on a sad note, I'd like to say thank you to whoever left cookies in the lobby! They're delicious. I look forward to meeting all of you in the future!

Disclaimer: Pilar's hello was more cheerful, because no one's trying to kill her with wallpaper. I'm just gonna throw that out there. I'm Mimi, and now officially live with my sister in #707. For those of you on our floor, I'm seconding my sister's apology for the noise and/or fumes. I don't think I've ever done so much decorating in my entire life, and the day that Pilar says she wants to start re-doing things will be the day that everyone sees her sailing out of one of those lovely windows. Hopefully it won't be soon, I'd miss her.

Anyway, I'm also seconding her suggestion that people stop by and say hello. We're still living like cave-people while the wallpaper and paint dries, and until the rest of the furniture is delivered I need to call those motherf so just pop your head in. It's a great chance to learn new curse-words!

Did you see the lobby? Clean. Last time I saw a lobby with floors that clean, they were cleaning up after a shooting.

According to several members of the building, there's been a case of time-travel around here. Were you one of the lucky ones sent through time and space?

you better not have gotten yourself killed, asshole

As much as I'm sure none of us really wants to relive what happened the other day, in the interest of figuring everything out as much as this building will make that possible, you're going to have to humor me. I'm sure it'll be of great interest to a lot of you, anyway, to know exactly what's happened, what you missed, and what your currently-hospitalized loved ones may have gone through.

What I know so far is that people have gone to Chicago, early 1929; Russia, 1917; and France, likely 1789. I know that people have gotten hurt, sometimes badly, because of this. If you could say where you went, what you saw, what you did because I've been doing some research and I'm seeing things that aren't right, so I'm curious as to what the hell you all did, and who you were with, and if they were hospitalized or not, I'll compile a list and send it out later if everyone's interested. If anybody has anything complied already, I'd like a look at it.

If you don't want other people to know, just send it to me privately and I'll be sure to credit you as 'anonymous'. I can keep secrets, unlike some people. And don't complain at me about probing too deep into anything and being a nosy bastard. It's pointless, this is helpful, and complaining isn't going to change anything.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, disregard this. If you have no idea what I'm talking about and you're new to this building, nice to meet you. I suggest you move out as soon as possible.

Well. What to say about Batfucked Letale? I don't think there's much else to add that hasn't already been said. 'Hang in there' sounds about right though.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that today was Mentos and Diet Coke Explosion Day outside with the kids. Went a little something like this. We had a competition to see who could shoot the explosion the highest in the air. The six year old kicked our asses. How's Tegan?

Hope the building didn't decide to suck you into a vortex because it realized it missed you the last time. Got a minute for a quick chat?

Public: Greetings to you all...

Greetings to you all.

My name is Bernadette Prideux and I've just moved here from France. I'm originally from the London area and I do a lot of my business there, but travel across Europe has been the norm for some time now, and I usually settle for rest in the French countryside. I've come to New York City in order to expand business opportunities and try some new things, and I have to say that even my first hour here provided such an opportunity...

This was initially going to be much more upbeat and pleasant, but several bottles of wine haven't made me forget the last few days and due to the evidence of a hideously old coat still very much present in my wardrobe, I am forced to concede that... whatever happened actually occurred. And from the number of traumatized looking individuals I saw in the lobby the other night, this wasn't just me.

Something went very wrong the other night. Can anyone explain?

That said, I look forward to meeting many of you in the future.

[ Locked to P1, P3 & P4 ]

As it seems we shall be some of the closer neighbors I was wondering if I might be able to persuade you to have dinner in my apartment in the coming weeks. Hopefully we can work out a convenient date for everyone, but if not I should love to have a chance to personally make all of your acquaintances.

Hello! My name is Pilar and I've moved into Apt. 707 with my sister Mimi. Some of you might have already run into her already. I just thought I'd apologize about the noise. I know we just got here, but there is much redecorating to be done before we can call our house a home. On another note, living out of boxes and eating pizza all the time is adventurous and all, but does anyone know a good take-out restaurant that delivers in this area? We moved on short notice and haven't gotten a chance to scope out the area. The door's currently open perpetually while we let the fumes of the glue air out of the apartment if anyone wants to stop by and say "Hi!" or help out.

Hello there! I've been meaning to do this since yesterday but I really wanted to get everything unpacked and settled before turning on the computer the piano is distraction enough without adding the internet

My name is Anthony I just moved into the building. Before this I lived in California and before that I was born and raised in London. I really look forward to meeting everyone and getting more familiar with New York City. Speaking of which, could anyone point the way to a good piano tuner? If anyone could help me out I would be incredibly grateful. Or if you just want to talk/hang out I'm down at #105.

Oh, and whoever left those cookies in the lobby: thank you very much! I love the chocolate ones.

Missing King Cobra. If anyone happens upon him, he will answer to the name Ra if cooed to him delicately, and only bites those wearing any colored slacks which are not black. A reward of $200 has been saved up by me personally and will be afforded to the founder upon Ra's safe return.

Please return Ra to:

Miles Glass The Magnificent
Apartment 201.

P.S. Ra, if you're reading this, you're sorely missed. Please come back home.

Public -- 104

My name is Lily. I've just moved in myself. Strangely enough, I was also pulled away to Russia... and then to the hospital...

I have some family members in the building, but I've lost my list of contacts when I was syncing my phone last night. Something to do with the SIM card. Probably more to do with me. :( Here's hoping that they're able to read this. I'd rather not have to knock on every door in the building asking which room they're in, or seeing if that's their door. Which I will have to, if that's my last resort--let this be my courtesy apology in advance if so for bothering you. ;) And yes, I should have it all memorized by heart, you're right, but technology makes me rely on it to be my memory. Now it's my amnesia. :(

I'm originally from here, but moved to San Francisco for a long while to finish school. I've been back here for a few years performing in theatre, until mine closed down. That's what lead me to Bellum.

Let's see, some facts about me... that aren't too revealing.

Thanks for having me. :)

Hey everyone, nice setup here. Definitely more convenient than a bulletin board in the lobby, that's for sure.

I guess I just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Parker Sullivan and I just moved into room 103 last night.

What to say, what to say... I suppose I ought to mention that I'm new to New York City--I'm from the Midwest originally, but I just graduated out of the University of California, Berkley. Definitely the best four years of my life so far, but things can always get better with new places and people, right?

I've already found the local co-op, recycling center, humane society and Goodwill, but if anyone could point me in the direction of some of the better grocery stores that sell free-range meat and locally grown produce, or a farmer's market, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm also looking for volunteer opportunities, so you if know any centers that are in need of help or would like to swap vegetarian recipes, feel free to knock on my door any time. It's covered in posters and newsletters, so it's really hard to miss.

By the way, thanks to whoever left the cookies in the lobby--the vegan ones were awesome.

Um, I was going to introduce myself before, but I didn't have the chance before being sent to Russia. I'm Sebastian Burke, I moved here very recently from Virginia. I'm a new nurse at Country General Hospital. I'm twenty-one, I have a bachelor's in nursing, and I now live in room #602. You can stop by if you need anything ever, if you want.

It's nice to meet you all.
