Livejournal recently suspended my accounts without reason and without explanation. I opened a support ticket about it but my questions are going ignored and they aren't responding to me. I've kept asking them about it in my ticket but I gave up. I can't understand it, I did nothing to deserve a suspension. I didn't think that debating with people and arguing were a bannable offense but I could be wrong. I don't know if someone kept flagging me or what. I wasn't the only person suspended that day either Maybe someone here can shed some light on the situation?

Were you a paid/permanent member of LJ? If so, it might be worthwhile to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, saying that LJ won't give you any information on why our accounts were suspended (and suspended you without warning). As a part of resolving the complaint, LJ may give you that info. (Of course, they could always ignore the complaint, too, but doing so reflects poorly on them in the BBB's eyes.)

Also, I thought LJ was doing the strike system...I don't suppose any of your accounts had strikes against them previously? IIRC, they're supposed to notify you of those.
I was involved in some race wank last year where a racist reported me and I got suspended for a short time.
Do you have a Notice of No Contact with anyone? You can get suspended if the abuse team thinks you're referring to that person "by inference" if you do - that is, you can say something which doesn't refer to anyone at all, the person you have a NONC with can complain to LJ abuse saying you're referring to them, and they will suspend you.

Happened to a couple of people I know, happened to me. On a friends-locked entry which was completely innocuous.
LJ/SuxApart aren't even registered with the BBB. I checked.
Seriously? I have a vague memory of at least one person posting about some back and forthing they did with the BBB and LJ/6A following the first Strikethrough.

Even if they're not, though, you can still file a complaint about them, IIRC. And you can find SixApart on the BBB website.
I had some trouble with them that I reported to the BBB and they refused to respond, even to snail mail and phone calls so it was marked "Unresolved" and I gave up. I think you have to file it under SixApart now because the LJ page says "Gone out of business." Or I guess SUP if they have anything on there.
I know thecaelum had a whole exchange with LJ via the BBB.
