Livejournal recently suspended my accounts without reason and without explanation. I opened a support ticket about it but my questions are going ignored and they aren't responding to me. I've kept asking them about it in my ticket but I gave up. I can't understand it, I did nothing to deserve a suspension. I didn't think that debating with people and arguing were a bannable offense but I could be wrong. I don't know if someone kept flagging me or what. I wasn't the only person suspended that day either Maybe someone here can shed some light on the situation?

You're not the only one who has had that happen to them. [info]techno_goddess is another. She hasn't figured it out either.
I'd like to alert others on the LJ comm Innocence_Jihad about these bans. Do you think [info]techno_goddess would mind if I let others know what LJ did to her?
You might want to ask her yourself. I wouldn't want to cause any unwanted attention for her.

But, her entry that I saw stating her troubles (from Dec 10th) is public.
LOL! I have it on excellent authority that she would like that very much. Read more of my rant here:

LJ thinks I am this person, and refuses to consider the mountains of IP logs that would indicate otherwise:

She happens to be an online friend (she explains more of the craziness in her blogspot). We shared a trolling account that I opened (dumb) and she got it suspended after some crazy trolling in some comms. That should have been the end of it.

Typically, when they suspend an account for a first infraction they don't go on a witch hunt after all the other accounts. But they decided that I was this Ubertroll, based on that SINGLE account (which I didn't even use--it was just a satire).

Right now I'm nearing the end of the semester (part time grad school) and don't have time to hit LJ with my letter, but believe me, they are going to get it good once my mind has recovered from school.

Permanent account permabanned after a single trolling infraction? Frankly, I'm not even sure she violated the TOS. I'll admit I should have been more responsible about sharing my account. But I will not accept that LJs heavy-handed response was appropriate.
You bring up an excellent point. It was confirmed that LJ used data such as email addresses to permanently suspend accounts, in the second wave after the Memorial Day strikethrough. Any data enamour has in common with another suspended user would be enough for LJ to suspend her as well.

She also could have been suspended after being flagged for having the interest Lolita. LJ is absolutely that stupid.
