I sympathize. I think it's been a hard choice for most of us who are moving. It certainly was for me, despite my being a world-class slacker when in comes to journaling. It takes quite a lot to get me off my backside and out of my comfort-zone, but LJ's latest round of offenses was just too damned much.

To me, moving to IJ is like moving to Canada from USA.
There's a lot less people, and a lot of my friends
"back home" aren't going to try very hard to
keep in touch.

Yup. OTOH, if Canada were not now busy trying to become the US, that's another trade-off I'd be willing to make. If I could...
