Yeah, it really seemed like the writer didn't know very much about the situation, though some of that at least could have been because subtleties were lost in translation. The quotes from the email were mistranslated, for example, and some parts imply that those quotes from Barak were about the current issue rather than the original stuff back in May.

It was a very ambivalent article, so to speak, even without the translation. On the one hand, the author mentions that fandomers are very creative and not just about the porn, but one paragraph down he talks about the management sucking it up to the "sex-fans". (Because if 6A had a spine, they clearly wouldn't do that, and we all know that actually the fans just worry about their porn, right?)
As a whole, it comes across as rather condescending. Besides, there's a clear confusion re: strikethrough events / boldthrough debacle. In the discussion thread on the official forum, several fans have spoken up already and mentioned some of the issues.
