[The video flickers on and the screen reveals Tamaki sitting on one of the sofas in the shelter common room fiddling with a rose in one hand and looking as though he is in very deep thought. His face is serious for most of the time before he begins speaking, but after a good thirty seconds his expression changes to something between a smirk and a smile while he glances at the camera from the corner of his eye.]

In this world there are those who are blessed with beauty and grace, the greatest gifts God could have ever bestowed upon a living creature. [He raises the rose he'd been holding to his nose and takes a good long sniff before setting it down and turning his attention back to the camera.] I, for one, thank the heavens above everyday that I am one of those fortunate few in possession of such rewards. That is not the message that I have for you all today, however. You see, it is my belief that the duty of these people with such exquisite looks to bring joy to everyone around them in any way they can - a duty which I place before all other things in life.

[Another pause, this time so that he may close his eyes and imagine lines of women admiring him and men doing all that they can to be him. It is a wonderful fantasy and it makes him chuckle lightly.]

A Host Club is a club designed for the specific purpose of sharing this beauty and giving such joy to its visitors - in short it is the perfect setting for carrying out the heavy task of bringing all the happiness in the world to those less fortunate than us! For this reason I have made the decision to establish one here in this prison as some of you may already be aware! [Suddenly, his arms shoot off to the sides as if he were welcoming everyone to step into his arms for a great big hug.] I would like to invite all those who might be interested to join us and utilize your gifts to the best of your ability! I am certain that among all of you watching this today there are plenty who are worthy of the title of 'Host'!

[And as an after thought, Tamaki turns his face away from the camera, brings the rose up to his mouth and just mumbles the next few words. They aren't really something he's proud of.]

[ it's getting late (although not that late) and Fou's frowning at a thin grey box and shaking it. Huffing, she sets it back down on the table and flicks on her network device ]

All right. I give. How the hell are you supposed to make this thing play?

[ someone's been bored and feeling restless all day. She's still an artificial being after all. It's not healthy getting wet! And if until she figures it out, she'll just be sitting flopped down on the couch and glaring at it. glaring ]

[ since it's raining, and kind of miserably warm, Lavi swallows his dislike of the traditional classroom format and posts a sign on the tree in the park that reads "English Class is moved to Education Center, Room 300". any students who come in will see him sitting at the teacher's desk, feet propped up on the desk as he flips through a thick, old-looking book. ]

[Starting from about mid-morning, the education center's craft room will be open and ready for the members of, and those curious about, the Sewing Club! Piles of fabric and patterns are there for those without inspiration, and of course, there are plenty of sewing machines open for those with it. There are also snacks and drinks set up on nearby tables, and relaxing but upbeat music wafts through the room.

There was a (handwaved) announcement earlier in the morning, with directions to the building and the room, so anyone is free to drop by and see what it's all about.]

[Kaoru's words had been the catalyst, and the sight of his empty room upon arrival had only confirmed his suspicions - the bare walls, the complete lack of furniture. True, he had never been one for excessive decoration, but he was also not one to sleep on the floor.

Well and so - he'd been gone. How long, he had a decently accurate guess, but there was really was only one person he could ask. And for all he knew, the removal of his belongings was some elaborate trick concocted by Tamaki.

So here he was, in front of Tamaki's door, his hand having just left the wood in a series of succinct knocks.]

Great. From one prison to another. Tch- doesn't even look like a prison. Just where the hell am I, anyway? This message doesn't explain anything!

[She sounds very much unbothered by her list of crimes.

She shifts, and along with her the rustle of fabric. Lots and lots of fabric. She fiddles with the communicator a bit - it's not difficult to figure out, so she turns on the audio function, not quite aware that it was already recording.]

Attention! I request some information. If I'm going to remain here for- life, I'd at least like to know a few things first.

[She's playing nice for now, because she's confident that even here Zero- Lelouch will find and save her. He said so.]

[So after having spent much of the day so far speaking with newcomers and figuring out that he's probably one of those famed glitches, Kid is on his way to (what used to be) his room to try and shake off the nausea he'd been feeling all day. Unfortunately, the room he enters is far less than the perfect room he remembers organizing the first time around.]

What the hell is going on here?! How dare someone come into my room and mess up the symmetry I worked so hard to perfect! Who would commit such a heinous act?!

This is completely unacceptable!

[Remember this guy, Marina? Well, even if you don’t he’s reintroducing himself in much the same way he did originally – getting angry about the lack of symmetry. He doesn't even care that it was probably the bots that did it.]

Whoever had the nerve to do such a thing will pay!!

[And that’s all before he turns his attention away from the feed and concentrating on fixing his room.]

[ And today's transmission reveals... about 90 minutes of a one [1] restrained young man staring, possibly without blinking.

Suddenly, action, as our fellow approaches the communicator: close-ups to a (left) red eye, fingers tapping the lens ( knock-knock!), a nostril sniffing the device, and finally, a peek of his...teeth and tongue... as they seem intent to bite - no, don't do that, it's unsanitary - phew, he's decided against chomping the lens and in favour of ---

...giving it a tentative lick.

Sadly, the camera is not delicious enough, and he backs away. ]

[ Yes, okay, you've won the battle, evil not-tea machine. But the war has not yet been fought until both sides of this shiny, shiny card are displayed before the camera! ]

[This morning, Ushiro can be found at the athletic center. This isn't all that unusual, except that he's in swim trunks, no glasses on, staring at the pool. He can swim, of course, but he just feels so awkward doing it.]

[He looks down at himself again. He's so damn skinny. He doesn't like it all that much - it's not an unhealthy kind of skinny, and he wouldn't want to be fat, but he's got no real muscle. Not like some of the others.]

[He sits down at the shallow end of the pool, dipping his feet into the water. The only way he's going to get more muscle is if he exercises, right? But what if someone sees him? He'd look like an idiot.]

Life-term imprisonment? It's like the plot of a potentially interesting mystery story. Still, you revealed who was responsible right from the beginning. There's no suspense.

[a brief pause then before the youth continues, tone changing a little to become slightly more businesslike.]

I am curious as to who ave Acumen the authority to arrest and prosecute crimes that should be under an entirely different jurisdiction. Any crimes that I stand accused of should have been tried under the Japanese judicial system, in accordance with the standing laws there. All crimes would have been committed under that system and should therefore stand trial there, if enough evidence to prosecute was collected.

[there's another pause where something almost like a falter happens, Naoto's expression changing slightly-- becoming a little bit softer, maybe. More unsure. All the facts are still adding up to being in prison, as unfair and unjust as that seems, and that thought is a dead weight in Naoto's stomach.]

...Additionally, is there anyone else from Inaba present in this facility? [the feed clicks off before Naoto's hopes can reveal themselves.]

"Ha. Ha. Ha." This is where I'm supposed to laugh, right? [The video shows Kaoru, looking most unimpressed, clearly more annoyed by his surroundings than anything -- though anyone that knows him will be able to recognize the faint, uncertain waver in his tone.] My lord, this really is your worst idea yet. This is a "The Host Club members are wrongly accused! Survival in the commoner prison!" scene or whatever, right? For one, no one is going to accept that Honey-senpai could be falsely accused of anything, and no one will believe that Mori-senpai would just let it happen. For another, this list of crimes is so crass -- isn't this bad for our reputation? [Both the waver and the annoyance suddenly become more pronounced.] And separating Hikaru and I isn't funny.

[Silence reigns for a moment before Kaoru sighs and rises, not bothering to turn off the video feed as he turns and walks away from the camera and heads for the door.] I bet that thing doesn't even work. Cheap props aren't a good--

[Then Kaoru pulls open the door and stops dead, staring out the door and up at a bot that's slowly passing by. He's silent aside from a faint shocked sound before he suddenly growls and spins around, stalking back towards the camera. He looks angry and worried, now, and when he reaches the table he snatches up the communicator, hands shaking, and accidentally cuts the feed off.]

[When Ciel first awakes, he feels that his day will be just as annoying as it usually would be. However, upon breakfast time, it became evident that his main annoyance was gone. With further investigation, he discovered that not only was Alois gone, but he wasn't even in the dome.

Now, Ciel feels that he should be happy about this. However, the young boy is very disgruntled. And the fact that he doesn't know why he's disgruntled just leaves him even angrier.

Too furious to sit still, Ciel ventured out to the butterfly pavilion, where he is now resting on a bench. In his hands is a bag of homemade chocolates that he never even opened. His eyes narrow, obviously irked.]
