Apologies for the lateness of the 2015 Fest Schedule! Better late than never. :D

This year, we hope to have a fest that will meet everyone's Snarry needs. We will be hosting three fests at snape_potter: Snarry-a-Thon15, Odd Jobs Career Change fest, Secret Snarry Swap and one challenge.

For those who like to work from anything goes prompts, there is Snarry-a-Thon15, for those who like to warm up with Snarry during the busy end of the year holidays, there is Secret Snarry Swap, and for those who like to pick up spur-of the moment challenges, there will be our annual summer challenge in July before we slide into Fall and our revolving themed fest, The Odd Jobs Career Change fest.

The first fest of the year will be the 7th annual Snarry-a-Thon. Prompt-based and anything goes, our signature fest begins posting April 20th.

The summer months are always a bit slow and we want to perk things up a bit with a challenge. Details will be announced closer to the date, but you can be sure Severus and Harry will be involved somehow. *g*

Since our Autumn fest has a revolving theme, this year the theme for the Autumn fest will be Odd Jobs Career Change fest. Tired of Harry as an Auror? Wonder how Severus would fare as a traveling salesman? This fest gives you the opportunity to break the boys out of their traditional careers and try something new. If you can imagine it, we want to read (or view) it!

Our final fest will be Secret Snarry Swap with details to come closer to sign-ups.

Snarry-a-Thon is an anonymous, prompt-based fic and art fest hosted at snape_potter. This fest is all about having fun with our favorite pairing and celebrating the enduring love we have for these two men and they have for each other. Posting will begin on April 20, 2015. "The Road Not Taken" Fest is an anonymous, one-shot, AU/AR theme-based fic and art fest hosted at snape_potter on LJ, IJ, and DW. Take any point in canon and deviate from that or use an entirely different setting or time period for our favorite boys entirely. If you can imagine it, we want to read (or view) it! Entries can be set in a different country, be non-magical, include de-aging, time travel, creature!fic, fusions (Severus as Sherlock Holmes, Harry as Watson), or a particular event from canon can be changed: Harry is not the Chosen One, Severus was never a Death Eater, etc.

Sign-ups begin Monday, June 16!

Whether you're having a barbecue, sitting poolside, or slaving away in your office today, we wanted to take a moment to mention that we have two different events planned at snape_potter over the summer.

Our autumn fest, The Road Not Taken, will focus on any manner of AU/AR creations with sign-ups in mid-June, entries due in mid-August, and posting beginning on Sept 15. The Snarry Summer Challenge is a self-posting, mini-fest that will be held during the month of July closing out on the 31st, Harry's birthday.

Details for both of these (as well as fantastic banners!) will be coming in the next week or two so you can plan your summer holidays accordingly. ;)
