One Step At A Time

The lazy days of summer are in full swing where your mods live, but there are still a number of things happening at the comm.

•Since June is "National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride month" we've resurrected our challenges at the comm and the theme of our first challenge is "Pride".

How do you imagine Severus and Harry came out to their friends, their families, or the wizarding world? DH compliant creations or AUs, anything is possible as long as you focus on Severus and Harry and expressions of pride. There is no minimum or maximun word count and we'll accept anything from drabbles/drawbles to ficlets, drawings, crafts, vids, baked goods or full length fics and pieces of art. The only restriction is that Severus and Harry must be the main pairing. You can find more information at LJ, IJ, or DW. Posting is open now and ends June 30.

•It's also time again for sign-ups for our Fall Fest. The theme this year is "First Time for Everything".

The First Time for Everything fest welcomes traditional firsts like a first kiss, first owl, first time they spent the night together (maybe even just sleeping), but also relationship milestones like the first time Harry or Severus said they were sorry or wrong, the first time Severus or Harry took care of the other (or perhaps one of Harry's children) when they were ill, or the first time Harry or Severus introduced the other as their partner. And there is always the option of even completely non-traditional first times like the first time Severus talked to Harry about Lily Potter or the first time Harry realized he trusted Severus. Let your imagination run wild.
