Wine More Day
Marvel couldn't resist another little dig at us in their latest issue of "Amazing".

Speaking of Stalkers...
I had a little mental debate whether to post this or not, because God, I hate the art of the second issue something fierce. But after doing that Marvel Adventures post with Stalker!Josten flinging a Quinjet at Jan's head, it might be an interesting contrast to see how Stalker!Cannon does things.

Introducing the Cheetah!
I'm going backwards through the posts on my own LJ, which is why I made the last Cheetah post first. I should've posted this, the first Cheetah story, first, but I didn't think of it. Sorry.
Wonder Woman has never developed the kind of rogues' gallery that her two big brothers have, but the Cheetah may be her most popular villain - I know she's a favorite of mine. Here is the Cheetah's first appearance, from Wonder Woman #6, 1943.

To Catch A Thief
So yesterday I finally sucked it up and bought Birds Of Prey: Sensei & Student despite it's gratuitous, egregious, and generally calamitous cover. Even for Greg Land, this is a bad cover. Those who haven't seen on the trade or the first time it was printed with #67, I'm not posting it, I'm not linking it, I'm not subjecting you to it. If you want to see it, it'll have to be on your own time by your own decision. I'm just here to talk about it. I'd originally decided to tear it off and burn it, but I don't keep matches anymore since I quit smoking a few weeks ago.

WEEK OF DOOM: Necrotek Rising!
Probably my favorite issue of John Francis Moore's Doom 2099 run. Just a done and one issue where Doom take's on the mystical creature, Necrotek, and has to use his greatest weapon of all, his mind, to beat him. From Doom 2099 #13.
