Week of Doom: Doom goes fishing
Nothing seems to terrify Victor Von Doom, lord of Latveria. Not even some leviathan like see monster of out of a bad Lovercraftian
nightmare.

Set up. After escaping jail on Heroes Reborn counter earth and rising to power yet again, Dr. Doom must face off against the forces of this world's Atlantis, as they try to repeat the great flood all over the other blue planet. With little resources and NYC under the flood, Doom takes on the Atlantian forces and succeeds to a point. Then they unleash this.

This, of course, was based on a much earlier image where Doom was able to achieve the same effect on Namor's pet Giganto after Krang unleashed it. Doom stares the beast down and bend's Giganto to his will. Namor's trumpet horn then had no effect on the beast.

Sadly, it was later revealed that this was just a Krakenbot.

MODRONS!

Just about my favourite D&D monster, along with owlbears, Illithids and Giant Space Hamsters. They can be both funny and incredibly inhumanly scary.

Yeah, same here. I don't really even play D&D any more but I still like pulling out the Planescape setting books and just letting my imagination go.

Those are some VERY pissed off looking eyes looking back at the Kraken. Can you blame it for wussying out to Doom?

Now I want to see a crossover where Doom ends up in the Pirates of the Caribbean universe and somehow lands on the flying dutchman.

Davy Jones: "Do ye fear death?"

Doom: "Do you?"

I remember this, Doom has used the DoomJedi-mindtrick many times before.
