i woke up this morning with the most blindingly painful of headaches. i couldn't even open my eyes. and then it was almost like an explosion and i really thought my head had just popped open like a grape. ugh. this is the worst.

Tomorrow, my beloved and I embark on a two week long trip to Greece. I hope no one will miss us too badly.

With the wedding on Friday, I hope you do not mind that I took a few liberties to set up a small... event, rather than have those such as you just show up at a courthouse. You all seemed better than just a courthouse. Nothing over the top. A small ceremony, with Hera and I there to bear witness and bless the matrimony and Styx will step in as the judge to perform the union. I assume you want to swear upon Styx. And after, a small meal - my gift to you, of course. Cars will arrive at your respective home at noon to pick you up and take you to the ceremony. Rooms will be onsite for the men and the women to get ready. I've hired a photographer that I trust. See you Friday. Kisses!

Bacchanalia is next month already! I can't believe it's practically around the corner. At some point I'll do something to mark my birthday, because I will be honest: I have entirely forgotten the exact date.

Dearest, we should do something grand. More all-out than usual.

so, iris and chloris are working on the same wedding right now. it doesn't always happen, but, they are. and, not to shame anyone, but this this the ugliest thing i have ever seen. the colors are highlighter pink and highlighter green and there are just so many swatches of those colors around our house right now that i feel like wherever i look, i see pink and green. and i hate this couple and i've never even met them. and if i ever do, i might stab them both with a pink and green highlighter.

what's the worst color combination you've ever seen in your life? does it beat highlighter pink and highlighter green?

i never realized what all was involved with buying a house! there's inspections and closings and just so much! but it's super exciting!

any advice for first time home buyers? anything to make it easier or at least more streamlined?

So, apparently, the apple doesn't fall very far from the War tree. I've been remembering past lives and it seems I was a soldier in most of them. It also seems like I died in battle in most of them. Which, well, that's what you go into war knowing could happen. But, remembering it happen so much? It's intense.

I'm not sure if I'm glad to be remembering these things or not.

new years eve is only 5 days away! do you have a place to go? no? WELL NOW YOU DO! bacchanalia is, of course, throwing it's annual NYE bash! our doors will open at noon and we won't close up shop until long after the ball has dropped. naturally we'll be closed on new years day, but, that's all the more reason for you to come down and party like a maenad!

A little girl visiting the farm asked if I was magical, then another child butt in and asked if I was Krampus. LOL.
Pesti and the gang were laughing at me.
