Following our previous discussion on the wearing of Uplift pink, I'm announcing our agreement that players are permitted and even encouraged, if they are so moved, to wear pink for the Caerphilly match, but they are not required to. Also that Graham and Terry Edevane of the Catapults are talking about this as a joint exercise for the two teams.

Owen, please be ready to assist with league-approved methods of decorating brooms, uniforms, and accessories. I know this is short notice, but I have faith in you.

Anybody else who has questions or comments, let me know, and if necessary I can add to or amend my message to the team. Thanks.

This is to let you all know that management and ownership are aware of the discussions in the league following on the incident at the Falmouth/Wigtown match, and further to that, the show of support for Muggleborns that has resulted during this bloc.

Mr Urquhart is speaking with Mr Edevane of the Catapults so that Portree and Caerphilly players and staff can jointly express their support by wearing pink along with their regulation uniforms. Any player or staff member who wants to wear pink will receive help in accessorising in ways that meet League regulations. You don't have to charm it on your own.

That having been said, there is no requirement to wear pink and anyone who does not feel it appropriate to wear pink for whatever reason does not have to. If you do feel it appropriate, I personally encourage you to do so. If you're not sure, please feel free to talk to me about it. I can explain my own reasons for doing so. If they're not good enough for you, or you don't feel moved, we're square. It will make no difference in how Coach MacFusty or I coach or play you.

Portree management is in for pink for the Caerphilly match. I just announced it to the team and we'll see how it goes. I think we'll get some support and some pushback but I'm hoping most of the players will go for it.

Good News: I've been cleared by the Healers to return to the pitch.
Bad News: Due to others' injuries, hockey might be delayed. If we run out of the season of ice, I'm sure we can come up with some sort of work around. Like maybe socks on freshly waxed wood floors.

February is more than half over and I realised that I have not yet made it onto the ice in a proper hockey game. Of course, concussions put a wrench in those plans, but that's all in the past. Or soon to be past.

Who wants to join me on the ice, whenever that may be?

At the normal Monday morning strategy meeting, Cav, with Ellie and Bart alongside him, announces that Joy will not be returning to the team from Australia. He'll say that the team is committed to finding a replacement but that in the meantime, this is a chance for the reserve squad and the team to come together. If anyone has any questions, his office door is, of course open.

He'll then turn it over to Ellie for the rest of the meeting and then it will be followed by training as scheduled.

I received three signed head shots of Gildeory Lockhart and a signed copy of Who Am I, and a note thanking me for my birthday wishes (which is today for any of those who are curious).

It appears that one of my siblings signed me up for the Gildeory Lockhart fan club, which is still in existence apparently, or someone with a name similar to mine is having a very disappointing day. However, I lean closer to one of my siblings having a good chuckle right about now.

It's good to be home. Though everyone was perfectly hospitable at St. Mungo's and I knew I had to be there for a perfectly valid reason, their beds are admittedly not built for individuals of my size and frame. I missed my bed and my dogs.

To all of those that visited me, thank you. It was very much appreciated. As were your cards and other fond notes.

I'll be back to my old self soon enough, until then I'm going to take time to relax and maybe just walk the dogs for a bit.

Spotted last week in St. John's former Montrose Magpies starter Angus Campbell. Is Campbell looking for an overseas reversal of fortune? Perhaps he's fleeing Scotland after his teammate and sometime girlfriend Elektra Yaxley impulsively married team captain Micah Savage. Or perhaps curiously unsuccessful Pride of Portree Seeker Pip Parkinson, also seen in Atlantic Canada over the holidays, is recruiting him as part of a trade to get back to the Maritimes...

As fun as it was to visit everyone back home, it's nice to get back into the swing of things.

It has come to my attention that my presence on the team may be causing some unintentional tension and problems among my fellow teammates. Internal strife is certainly the last thing I want to be the maker of. I have taken the past several days to think about the best solution to this matter and I think it would be best for everyone involved if Maddie was on the roster for the game against Ballycastle on the twentieth.

I will, of course, be in attendance to cheer and support the team in a full capacity.
