This might sound weird, but I haven't many mates my own age about, and wondered if you'd ever want to catch a pint?

You'll all be relieved to know that I'll be gracing Montrose with my presence this week at practice for some stirring interviews on the state of the season thus far. I know you'll all be taken by the brilliant questions designed almost entirely by yours truly.



In very different news, yes, the rumors are true, I AM single. So, ladies, feel free to use this opportunity to tell me why I should consider asking you on a date. I'm open to anyone very attractive and interesting.

At what point have I lived in the wizarding world long enough to tell the lot of you that the ballpoint pen is nearly sixty years old and is not a technology to be afraid of? If you dislike the idea of brios, may I suggest fountain pens with refillable chambers have been in existence since the 1850s. Heck, even dip pens are better than quills. Less likely to get broken.

This is brought to you by the fact that I am pretty sure I've gone through half a dozen quills in the last two weeks.
