I tried to keep the wireless on low at my desk during the Harpies match this afternoon, but I accidentally got most of the office listening. I'd apologise but the Harpies were killing it. They were my team until Justin announced the return of Banchory, and they'll remain such until the Bangers play their first match.

I heard someone bring up the anniversary of the battle already. They're not gonna want to do something every year, are they?

One of the things I always appreciated as an intern was coming in each morning to find my desk neatly organised, having successfully finished all of my work from the day before. That still happens here, but it turns to chaos far more quickly. It's a good thing creating order from chaos happens to be one of my favourite hobbies.

So yes, saying work has been busy may be a bit of an understatement. Is there anything I've missed outside of it?

Found a flat in Newington, which was actually decently priced and not one step up from student housing. Though it would make sense if it were student housing, considering how close the universities are. My mother wanted something in Morningside, but I’d stick out like a sore thumb.

Also, how do you feel about dogs?

You know, I am beginnng to wonder if being an only child a good thing. Both my parents have far too much time on their hands. Which, I’m aware that this is the most ridiculous complain I could ever have. Woe is me, my parents pay too much attention to me and love me too much.

I would just rather like to avoid the third degree when it comes to Monte.
