New York is amazing. It may not have the Blackhawks, but so far it's looking like that's one of it's few flaws. Another one being I can't find a place that sells a good pizza, and I'm craving deep-dish almost bad enough to buy gas and drive back to Chicago to get one. If someone could be good enough to save me another fourteen hour car journey and give me some recommendations more in the NYC area, I'd certainly appreciate it.

For friend, I read runestones about the magic that was happening the night not so long ago. I am very certain that it will be happening again with the full moon. I thought it would be good to be warning all people here to be careful then.

Hello, everybody at Bellum!

I'm Diego, and I have just moved in!  I arrived here the day before yesterday, and I am very excited to meet all of you in this building.  I'm in room 1201, which I know is a long climb for some of you, but I love to entertain visitors!  I recently returned to the United States from spending two weeks in Pakistan, so you can see I love to travel.  I know very little about Bellum so far, but I've heard that you all here love your stories.  So please come and share them with me!  I love to listen to and tell stories, so I would love to hear yours.

We have decided that it would benefit all tenants to know the tales living under our roof. This list is being posted for the protection of all residents, and is meant to be informative for new tenants. Should you know the identity of someone not on the list, or without a unit listing, inform us here, and we shall rectify the matter.

With the holiday season reaching its sugar-infested end, I figured it was high time I shared the fruits of my student loans with all of you in an attempt to spread good will and cheer throughout the building. It’s the time of year when people are just starting to realize that the world isn’t going to be cold and dead forever, that everything is coming back to life, that the insects are re-infesting the walls, and that mistakes made in winter are now coming to fruition. It’s also a time of deep spiritual thought, though that doesn’t usually last for more than a month or so, and people tend to be more worried than usual about the state of their selves after death. What follows is an extremely brief but nonetheless valuable history of a subject near and dear to all our hearts, that has influenced people over the ages, is a massive portion of our current culture, and is steeped in history.

But we were talking about the fairy tale shi stuff and somebody in the building has probably made a list, but we thought there should be one for everyone. And maybe some basic 101 stuff so that the new people get some sort of warning and they don't just start out calling us crazy.

And you're an English teacher so you were the first person we thought of. Because you probably recognize more of the stories than we do.

Can't say I've ever been in a place that provides you with a computer upon moving in. Not that I'm complaining but it's a little strange, you know?

Speaking of which; I've been doing my homework, and I must say it seems as though this place is just full of activity. I've always preferred firsthand versions of events, however, so why don't you all indulge a girl and share - I want to hear it all. The good, the bad, even the downright ugly; all those delicious little details. My job keeps me rather busy, you see, so I might not be around often enough to experience things for myself.
