[Note: Owls went out Saturday morning including a note and a portkey to friends of Pansys, children at the school and their parents, and other folks who might have a reason to be there. (If you think your char might be there, they were probably invited) The portkey activates at 1pm and transports guests to the Holyhead Harpies pitch. An area has been decorated with tables and chairs and there is plenty of food and drink. There were various activities for the children (and children at heart to do). Ginny and perhaps some other Harpies players were around. OOC summaries or threads at the party are allowed. Presents not required.

Penelope and Gus had reserved the Cadogan Arms for their party - It was easier that way and they'd been there enough to know the owners. Upstairs was the billiard room - with pool tables, a bar, and appetizers and downstairs there were tables, the fireplace, full bar, and a dance floor. Penny didn't really care about presents - this was more an opportunity to get together with all their friends and have a good time.

What: Date night. Hufflepuff Ministry boys go out for dinner & drinks to bitch about life, the universe and everything.

There wasn't enough drinking in Zacharias' life. There weren't enough loose, drama free women, either, but that was another story. Regardless, going out with some Hufflepuff Ministry friends for dinner and drinks sounded like a good idea. Which is the reason why Zacharias, Robbie, and Justin found themselves in the back corner of a semi-posh muggle pub in a booth to themselves. They'd cast a privacy charm around themselves once they had their food and drinks and were now simply letting loose. Besides, the inquiry about the Cannons seeker had reached their preliminary results, so Zacharias was slightly less busy. This caused for celebration.

Zacharias poured another round of ale for the boys as he leaned back in the booth.

"I think we ought to propose the Ministry put in a pub in the lobby. Considering the crap we have to deal with," Zach explained, only half serious. Mainly, he wanted to forget about stupid Mandy running the stupid resistance meaning.

Pansy would have been the gracious hostess and not quite the bitch people remember. There would have been a small petting zoo there for the children as well as colouring and games. The girls would have probably been showing off their outfits and Pansy would have done her best to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Jonquil's first encounter with cake would have been very tentative, but she did seem to enjoy it. Pansy would have made the effort to make the non-Slytherins feel welcome.
