Most of the children had been picked up already but those who were still there were playing in the yard while she and Bastian sat at the table in the garden, keeping an eye on them and sipping tea. Pansy still hadn't made up her mind about being a surrogate for Luag and Nate, but in true Slytherin fashion, she was trying to find a way to have it all. Children might have mellowed her out, but she did still like to have her way sometimes. (Though it was so rare). She was hoping that in this possible future, what she wanted, and what would be best for the girls, would work out to be the same.

"I can't tell you how much of a help it's been, having you around to help with the school," Pansy said as she took one of the biscuits that Flopsy had made and dipping it in her tea.

It was occasionally nice to have an evening away from the children. Not that she'd really had an evening off to do anything by herself since Tommy died, but even the evenings off to go meet up with a friend were nice and enough. Although this wasn't strictly for fun. Pansy trusted Luag's opinion since he seemed to have a similar mindset. And was more easily accessible than some of her other friends. Most of her friends had plenty of their own troubles to deal with. And perhaps, if Nate was around, after whiskey tea she could get a reading. Maybe it was all silly and she shouldn't bother Luag with it even. Before she could cancel though, Luag was flooing over with Cody and getting him settled with the girls and Pansy's parents (and the ever vigilant house elf), and Pansy was following Luag through the floo to his home. Taking a seat at the kitchen table, she rested her hands on the table as she sighed.

"It's so odd to hear nothing but silence in a home. Happens so rarely," she said.

[Note: Owls went out Saturday morning including a note and a portkey to friends of Pansys, children at the school and their parents, and other folks who might have a reason to be there. (If you think your char might be there, they were probably invited) The portkey activates at 1pm and transports guests to the Holyhead Harpies pitch. An area has been decorated with tables and chairs and there is plenty of food and drink. There were various activities for the children (and children at heart to do). Ginny and perhaps some other Harpies players were around. OOC summaries or threads at the party are allowed. Presents not required.

It'd been quite some time since Pansy had someone read tarot for her. There hadn't been much free time in the States since their social calendar was usually extremely busy. Plus, she had known what she was down and where she was going. True, she'd consulted the card when Tommy was courting her, but that was years ago. Now, well, the odd feeling in her gut was back. She wasn't sure she could trust Nate, but she trusted Luag and Luag trusted Nate - which was good enough for her right now. Hopefully she wouldn't have to divulge too much of what was on her mind - it wouldn't be ladylike, after all.

Entering the shop, she smiled at Nate and greeted him, letting him finish up whatever he was doing while she browsed the fabrics on display.

Pansy had let Isaac pick the restaurant. It'd been years since she'd lived in England and the good places didn't always hang around. It was certainly a nice restaurant and once food had been ordered and wine poured, Pansy cast a privacy charm around them out of habit. This way they could speak freely. It was just the Slytherin way.

"I could get used to this," Pansy said with a smile as she sipped her wine. "Seeing you three nights in a row, as odd as it is, it's not a bad thing."
