Who: Dennis, Morag, Michael, NPC!Thorfine Rowle, Aurors, DMLE, Hitwizardy types, probably bystanders (Open to in-game DMLE players I think?)
What: Capturing a Death Eater!
When: September 6th, evening
Where: Starts at the MoM, ends in a Muggle town
Rating: Probably high!
Since Dennis wasn't training the recruits anymore, he spent a lot of time in his office researching muggle newspapers. He'd begun it as a research claim, but eventually it had developed into more. Missing people, unsolvable murders, and robberies were always on the rise, but a network of communities on the east side of England had caught Dennis' attention. He'd stumbled on it accidentally about three weeks ago when one of his military mates had said something about his hometown going to the wolves. Although the suffering economy was an entirely plausible explanation, Dennis couldn't quite shake it. The murders slowly grew more numerous, and more violent. The robberies were always at grocery or convenience stores, and as time went on they included bloody murders as well.
Dennis didn't have the authority to track magic in the location, so he'd had to go on a hunch himself. Of course, he'd never visited the place. He sure as hell wasn't going to walk into a possible Death Eater situation alone. Eventually, with the help of MacDougal and Corner, Dennis had salvaged up enough evidence for a case. Murders, kidnappings, robberies, odd paper trails. Odds and ends of all the law enforcement positions had been given to Dennis for the evening.
Tonight was the night.
As dusk fell, Dennis was in a conference room. His office wasn't quite big enough for this meeting. He, alongside MacDougal and Corner, was coordinating the mission. He still didn't quite understand Corner's authority-esque position, but Dennis was no longer questioning it. Everything questionable had happened after dark. Whether Death Eathers felt more comfortable in the night, or it was easier to get away with crime in the night, Dennis did not know. "Ready then?" he asked MacDougal and Corner, all while keeping his eyes on the rest of the attendees.
