Penelope and Gus had reserved the Cadogan Arms for their party - It was easier that way and they'd been there enough to know the owners. Upstairs was the billiard room - with pool tables, a bar, and appetizers and downstairs there were tables, the fireplace, full bar, and a dance floor. Penny didn't really care about presents - this was more an opportunity to get together with all their friends and have a good time.

It was hard not to get spring fever due to the warm days that hinted at summer being just around the corner. Penelope had opted to wear a blue and white polka dot dress with a red belt and red pumps. She ditched the cardigan she'd been wearing at the office as she and Marcus made their way from the Ministry to Diagon Alley. It was too nice a day to be wearing a sweater, besides, a little bit of sun never hurt.

Taking Marc's arm as she let him lead the way to the cafe, Penny smiled.

"So, shall we talk about project 'Seduce Augustus Pye'?" she asked with an impish smirk. Small talk was overrated and she wasn't in the mood to discuss politics unless she had to.

WHAT: Dadadadun dadadadun dadadadun dadadadun ooooeeeeoooooo ooooo ooooo aka the Doctor Who watching party. Group thread placeholder for ooc ramblings, threads, and such.

Gus set the time for everyone to meet at the flat an hour early so that he could explain Doctor Who to all the n00bs, which was a very exuberant performance and was welcome to additions made by other knowledgeable people. He was dressed up in his nice Fifth Doctor costume, complete with celery. There were lots of snacks to nosh and plenty of beer and drinks. The two cats and kneazles were left loose to wander around the flat for at least a little while. Gus was strict about the no talking rule during the episode and likely cast a silencing spell on anyone who broke the rule more than once.
