Logging in no longer works for GJ. It might be a server glitch, but part of me wonders if system didn't just say 'fuckit' and turn it off altogether. Maybe that's what he meant by ASIS.

(Details: you can log in but if you refresh you're logged out)

eta I tried posting a comment to the news post (by inputing my un/pw right before hitting post) and got errors galore. Now it's showing my comments sans text. (http://www.greatestjournal.com/community/news/100462.html?page=29#comments)

It makes me so mad and I don't even have a journal on GJ, just a username. If system either a) saw there was a problem, or b) has chosen to make one himself by perhaps deliberately wiping the servers, the least he could've done was give people some warning. Don't just say, "it will stay as-is" then leave it at that when you don't mean it or you know it's a lie. I also was witness to the 1,800+ comments on his last post and noticed he didn't post a personal response to even one question put to him by those people, who were asking him many questions, throwing fits and protesting his latest announcement left and right. You'd think he'd say something to calm them down but no, he just retreats into his dorky, stupid silence. I've seen it before - not with him, and not on the same level, but I've seen it before. Guys like that are always total shits, they screw everybody. Rather than defend themselves or proclaim innocence, they just stay silent because they're too coward and too wrong to do anything else and they know it.

Guess this will teach everyone witnessing this you should always back up whatever you keep online...you just never know.

If this is the way he treats people on a regular basis, then I feel sincerely sorry for his supposed wife and child (though I can't imagine anyone wanting anything to do with someone like him) -- because I'm sure they're treated with at least the same amount of contempt that he showers on everyone at the site.

I'm not defending system, but most of the "my entries are gone" people are referring to private/flocked entries that they can't see because they can't login. Which is pretty shitty, since I have some things I can't access that I need to save, but there's no clear evidence that he's actually removed them. They still show up in my calendar, I just can't get to them.
