There is a way to do it after all.

I have come across the capability to import both the post and the comments at lj.rossia.org. An example of an imported event is here.

It seems that it is possible to import the comments because of the capability to add @lj at the end of the username in the site that one migrates to.

I have no idea what the posts are about, since I do not speak Russian. Please inform me if it is not advisable to link to others' personal entries.


I am not technologically inclined, and it seems to be a site capability moreso than a program. As it stands, LJ-sec does not import comments (which is a problem because for those of us who have stayed on LJ for a significant number of time may at times have more valuable exchange in the comments page than in the original post)
