Back in the summer there was a $40 permanent account + 500 permanent icon slots sale and I snapped that sucker up. So far I've only uploaded 78. I have an early adopter account over at JournalFen and have only used 104 of my 1200 icon slots there.

*grins* So yeah, I can't imagine using 5000 slots.

LOL, it's tempting to get that for my icon comm, just so I can store all of the icons I make in my "allpics" area but... XD I can't actually imagine making that many icons. Plus I'm a little low on cash at the moment (Xmas does that, LOL) so... I dunno... maybe in a few months if the offer comes up again.

On my regular accounts, and/or RP accounts, I just can't imagine sorting through that many icons to figure out which one to post with. Or coming up with 5000 keywords. XD

I can't use up 300, I don't need 5300....

Plus, I just spent $175 in cloth, patterns and notions for making two dresses and three pinafores (and some left over) so I have no extra money.

Icons are to graphic design what advertisements are to movie production. :P And hey, advertisement kind of is an art form, really. It's a highly competitive business.

Nope! I've used less than a sixth of my currently available 300 slots, and I probably only use 15 of them regularly. I may regret this 3 years hence, but I'm good for now.

I can't imagine using that many icons, to be honest.

Though that gives me an idea for a new script/function/whatever -- something that will pick and use a random user icon whenever a user posts. Hmmm . . .

I did. I doubt I will use up all of those spaces, but I did it to support the site just as much as it was for the icons. I've wanted an icon journal for ages, and it was going to be gj, but they droppped their limit down to 100 before I could get my icons built up. And I happen to be able to afford it at the moment, so I treated myself for Christmas.

Am so glad I found a mass-upload tool, though.
