This Post Contains Explicit Adult Ranting
Six Apart has announced a new censorship tool in lj_biz (for once 6A has linked to a pedophile witch-hunt related development from news, instead of completely burying it in lj_biz).
Amusingly named Voluntary Adult Setting, the feature allows us to flag our own content as adult.
Rest in my insanejournal.

Maxing out the messages will prevent them from answering any of the real questions.
Right now, they're politely explaining, over and over, that the "restrictions" only mean an additional cut-tag (with an age verification thingie of some sort) for adults. They are not answering questions about what happens when a minors' journal is flagged (other than to say that the author can always view his/her own content... so far, we're led to believe that teens can't read each other's accounts of having sex, but adults can), nor what standards they're using to decide what's "inappropriate" for under 18's.
