Do any of these journal migration tools also preserve posts from your LJ Memories that are from *other people's* journals?
Because I realized that makes up about half the stuff in my Memories.

The only migration tools I know for preserving memories are variations of the firefox tool linky - which effectively enables you to bookmark all of your memories fairly quickly.
From that you can export to del.icio.us etc, but it remains a linking system.
There may be a possibility of using a download all, and saving a webpage copy onto your computer but that may not be an effective or neat way of browsing through.

Thanks anyway.

Bookmark with Linky and then take screenshots?

Linky.
You can open a category of memories and then with right click -> linky open them all in different firefox tabs with one hit.
Closing the excess you can then go "bookmark all tabs" with firefox.
Then in your delicious settings you can select to import bookmarks. It gives much better instructions there than I can. ^_^;;
