Hi there...
Just found this community. I've been using IJ as a backup for bit now...
I know this is shameless self-promotion, and if it's not ok I'll take this down. But I thought I'd mention that as a 07refugee myself I've started my own blogging service, it goes by the name of Pirate Journal...
I should explain, since I and the hosting service service, are both UK based, the rules are a touch different over here. Plus, it's not based on Brad's code, so I don't have to use his license.
What that amounts to is censorship free blogging.
I mean, even Insane Journal is subject to federal law, and if you read the TOS it's very similar to LJ's [actually, so's mine, but with a few critical changes].
Anyway, I thought I'd mention it, please drop by and check us out. I'm still shaking the bugs out of the code at the moment, [we've only been 'live' a week.] but everything works and I'd appreciate feedback on things like the TOS [or the articles of piracy as they're called!] and other details...
Registration isn't quite up and running, but *ahem* there is a free backdoor open at present, as long as people don't abuse it.
If you can't spot it yourself please email me for details. [but it's not hidden at all].
