Fan Finder

Throughout LJ, we're seeing fans talking about one or both of these: whether to fight or move, and places to reach them. Either way, fans want to preserve their communities. ETA: We meant _all_ communities not just journal communities. Your friends, your acquaintances, the people who e-mail you when disaster strikes, the people you meet at cons.

Where it says "Comms", does that mean list the comms you maintain, or comms you're active in, or what? Because if it's the latter, that can be a pretty big list.

Have you seen the asylum fandomdirectory? It might have some of the same stuff you're looking for.

That asylum is for journal communities. We're talking about your fan journal and contact information. If one system goes down, people can theoretically find you on another system, if you've moved there. You'd be SOL if you don't belong to any communities.
