So, tomorrow, or, rather, later today, we'll be off for Shipwreck Cove, or whatever may be in its place. If you aren't coming with, you're still more than welcome to come see us off.
We're leaving from [location in Florida] and we'll be gone for... some time. How much time is entirely dependent upon our success, and the winds.
For those of you who are coming, you should already have received your assignment as to which ship you'll be going on, the Horizon with myself and Bill, or the Other Vanity with Anne and Petit.
If not, we'll work that out on the docks, won't be the first time we've thrown a crew together from scratch, likely won't be the last. And besides that, what are you doing up and reading at this hour? Get some sleep, you're going to need it.
As for the rest of you: Wish us luck, we're going to need it. |

Attention to those involved in the search for Shipwreck Island/Cove
We'll be setting sail on May Day, rain or shine, from [port address] in Palmetto Bay, Florida. We've got two ships, and two prestigious captains. First of which is our very own Captain Jack Sparrow, captaining the Endless Horizon and Captain Anne Bonney with her ship. We've got more than enough crew for both after the great influx of interest. Both ships will be setting sail, Sparrow's ship taking the lead as we're the ones who've got the Compass. Anne's got a copy of the route, as best as we could lay it.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we got prepared behind the scenes. The captains and myself are very excited to start this venture, and we assure a fair share of the prize to all those involved in our endeavor, should we find anything shiny at the other end.

Attention All who signed up with Cpt. Jack Sparrow's Crew
The ship we've got for our little adventure is ready for its maiden voyage. The voyage will start May Day and may take upwards of three months, though it may be as short as a month to find the island. Pack light, but for spring sea weather. Be intelligent - Clothes must be practical for the work you will be doing. Most of you know this, but some of you are greenhorns.
We're still short about five men, but with hard work on all our parts, we'll be able to do what's needed to accomplish our goal.
If any of you should feel the need to abandon the crew during our voyage, we've got a lady who can transport you to land.

Well, in a way I'm glad it's not just Key West craziness, but it's still damn weird.
Was at the market for my weekly supply run and wham! People start swapping parts all over the place, freaking out like it's the end of the world, not everyone, but enough that it was pandemonium for a while.
Anyway, glad I haven't got it, whatever it is. Mary was always better at being a man than I was.
Anyone figure out the reason for it? Why some people are getting hit and some aren't?
