Subject:Safe Now
Time:12:10 am
Who: Jack and Maggie
Where: The Woods, then Jack's Place
When: Evening

Jack had gotten word from Eli and his crew where to hunt down Maggie and her captor. After he knew his sister was safe, even if he and Mannix hadn't gotten to her on time, he went for her. When he got there, he faced off against the vampire, winding up ripping his throat out deep enough to hit spine, then he kept pulling on the spine to sever the head. It was harder to get heads to come off without thumbs. But he managed it, and the vampire turned to dust, which was fucked up, but better than nothing.

Then he went to track Maggie's scent. When he discovered it was a patch of earth he tracked her scent to, a bolt of panic hit him. He started digging, as fast as he could – something he could do better as a wolf so everything had it's perks and drawbacks, now didn't it.

There was mud around Maggie’s eyes from where she’d been crying. How long had she been trapped beneath the earth? It felt like days, but she knew that couldn’t be right. She shouldn’t be able to breathe that long, yet she continued to live. The idea that she might starve to death after being buried alive was so ridiculous that she’d laughed until she’d cried, fallen asleep then woken up to cry some more. She tried to dig herself out, but didn’t even know which way was up. For all she knew, she was digging herself deeper into the ground.

Who: Maggie and Madison
Where: Madison's Place
When: Night (4/18/2017)

She was annoying him by her existence altogether. She was stupid and useless and Madison hated her. Hated her. And she was unconscious which was also annoying because she wasn’t answering his questions. Madison turned the poker around in his hand then pressed it against her leg to see if she’d wake up.

Maggie screamed and rolled away from the pain, a natural reaction even if she was barely awake. She’d taken to pretending to sleep even when she wasn’t sleeping because sometimes he ignored her if that was the case. She was hungry and tired, in pain and a little delirious. The thought that she was dying was in the back of her head, but she was attempting to ignore it. How long could she live in this state? She looked up at Madison, her glare a mix of fear and hatred. She’d never wanted to kill someone so bad in her life, and she’d never felt so helpless.

Subject:Why Are You Special?
Time:11:11 pm
Who: Madison and Maggie
Where: Somewhere unknown
When: Before dawn

Madison hadn’t brought her to his house. He’d considered it, but he also knew Anne Marie was looking for her and really, Madison wasn’t sure he wanted to hand over the good yet. So he’d carried the girl towards an abandoned house, near one of the farms, something built for another family to work the land, but the family had never come. It was furnished, which he appreciated. He was still dressed in his coat with his feet on the coffee table, the girl tied up near the hearth, out cold from the bump on her head. She was pretty, but outside of that he couldn’t truly fathom what Anne Marie wanted with them. She said she needed them, this one included, and she wanted to turn off the sun. He wasn’t sure how the two connected and he was trying to puzzle it out. That he couldn’t figure it out, genius that he was, had long moved past irritating and on into annoying.

Time:11:39 pm
Who: Maggie and Madison
Where: Maggie’s House
When: Night

Madison turned a slow circle around the house, staying in the shadows and watching the whole thing with nothing but utter amusement. It was just like all the others. It was a funny thing, the variety and the spice people had given up for safety. To feel like things were normal again.

But they weren’t normal. Nothing was normal.

He pointed towards another space and watched the little minion hurry to drop the kindling there as well. He wasn’t supposed to call them minions. They were others dedicated to the same cause, but in reality they were more expendable than most. They had to realize that. He supposed every coven had expendable players.

Coven. He was starting to like that word too. With a wicked smile he set the first bit ablaze and moved to watch the house burn. “Cover the exits!”

Time:06:38 pm
Who: Frankie and Maggie
When: Morning
Where: The salon

Frankie was running late for her hair appointment. She really sort of loathed calling it that, because it had nothing to do with curling or styling and everything to do with allowing Maggie to cut about an inch of her hair off to get rid of split ends for about another month or so. It was simple, and probably wouldn’t take that long, but Frankie didn’t trust herself with her own hair and a pair of scissors. Besides, this way she got to say hello to Maggie and help out her business too, in a monetary kind of way.

With the skies so cloudy and the wind picking up, they had tried to get the horses and cattle settled before the storm started, so Frankie left the ranch later than she had meant to. Thankfully she didn’t live too far from Maggie’s, and the weather nudged her along, the wind keeping her from getting distracted by something, or someone else, and forgetting her appointment all together. Her hair whipped about her face, creating a curtain of red as she stood on Maggie’s door step and knocked loudly. Hopefully Maggie remembered the appointment. Frankie had seen her the night before at the barn dance with a few beers, so a hangover was always a possibility.

Subject:It's a Barn Raiser!
Time:12:45 am
Who: OPEN TO ALL
Where: A Barn
When: 6PM Onward

Mickey hadn't planned on attending the social event, but as it would always have it, he got a frantic phone call that the lights weren't working right and they needed a hand. He'd hurried that way, helping with the extra lights in the barn that had been cleared of most of the equipment so there would be space to dance. Tables had been rolled in and set up so people would have places to mingle and the grill was going at full capacity. By the time Mickey had solved the electrical problem, the barn had lights up as well, and the band was starting. It wasn't a bad atmosphere to get stuck in at all, and despite his reservations, he'd been handed a beer and was taking in the party with everyone else.

Who: Jack and Maggie
Where: Maggie’s House
When:After midnight

Maggie didn’t know when Jack would show, but she expected it to be before midnight. When the clock struck twelve, she turned out the lights, washed her face, put on her pjs, and crawled into bed. Maybe he’d forgotten or gotten tied up elsewhere. She knew he was a busy guy, that he wasn’t the sort she needed to invest in, but it was so easy to be drawn in. Jack made her feel special, like she was the only girl he had eyes for, and while she wanted that to be true, she seriously doubted that was the case. Maggie drifted off into a fitful sleep, worrying in her dreams of other reasons Jack might not have shown.

Subject:Ice Cream Run
Time:08:53 pm
Who: Maggie and Riley
When: Early evening
Where: Market

Riley had realized almost too late that he had absolutely no ice cream. If he was going to entertain a group of ranch hands and a six year old girl, he was going to need that. He could also use a few other things. And while Mrs. Haggerty had offered to run out and get anything he wanted, he’d had way too much foreknowledge about what this night was supposed to hold to let anyone go out in his stead. The last thing he needed was someone he knew and cared about becoming stranded out in town with werewolves. Because who knew if all had been accounted for or would be joining the effort at the encampment.

Time:05:10 pm
Who: Maggie and Serge
Where: East end of Delphi (Mockingbird Lane)
When: 6 AM

Soon enough, he had a meeting to be at. A few hours remained before Serge needed to be clean and showered, changed from his sweaty workout clothes and freed of his ankle and wrist weights, and at December's house with a coffee from Eatzy's. But in his world, a few hours was a chunk of time overflowing with other uses. And this early? Running was an easy choice from the options.

Serge never knew just when he might need to be able to run constantly, to do it with weight on his back, or to know every address in Delphi. A proper run around the dome provided training for all three, as well as a moment of solitude he enjoyed as he ran. He could feel his heart beating strong and steady as Serge eased his pace back near the corner of Elm and Mockingbird, reaching up to tug a solitary earbud from his ear.

It was quiet yet, the sun was starting to rise. Soon, most of Delphi would be waking up. Soon, some of it would be fleeing the sun and going to sleep. Either way, Serge had to wonder once again just what the day might bring, and what sorts of darkness would flow in when night came again. But that was hours and hours away yet, and past the deadline of the next two? He wasn't going to plan.

Who: Maggie and Mickey

Things weren't fixed with December, but they'd had a nice, comfortable night that she seemed to need and he wasn't going to complain. She'd come over to see him, spend time with him. It was something and he was holding on to it. The festival of sorts caught his attention, drawing him away from work as he moved through the small crowd, looking at what there was to offer and watching for familiar faces.

Maggie was enjoying the opportunity to get out and be social, especially on such a beautiful day. She set up a table near her shop and was painting ladybugs on people’s fingers for free, hoping to advertise her business. It was going fairly well, with a number of new customers setting up appointments, some for hair, some for nails. When she saw Mickey, she waved him over with a smile on her face. “Would you like a ladybug?”

Rain was never promising for business. When people didn’t have cars to get them around town, they didn’t wander out into the rain to get their hair or nails done. So when Maggie woke up to dark clouds and raindrops, she decided to stay home and instead settled in to read up on dogs. She was going through the books that Jack had brought her on veterinary medicine, slowly learning all she could learn. It was going to take some time, but she thought once she’d read everything, she could start advertising herself as a vet, while also working at the salon. Even if all she had was book knowledge, she had to start somewhere.

Though the power was back on, Maggie doubted anyone was going to stop by her salon today. People were too focused on the wolf attacks to consider getting their haircut, so she closed down shop and set out to run a few chores of her own. One was getting more firewood, just in case another cold front blew through. It was an errand that required her to roll a wheelbarrow across town, knowing full well that she wouldn’t be able to carry the firewood back on her own. When she showed up at the lumbermill, she gave a look around, not sure who to talk to.

Who: Jack and Maggie
Where: her house
When: during the storm
Warnings: language

Jack loved a good storm. It was something he always appreciated, one of the simpler things in life. But he did. So, when it was storming like a bitch in the Dome--which as he understood it, wasn’t actually meant to happen--he was out on his own porch, smoking, just enjoying it. He had his feet propped up on the swing out there, and when he saw Maggie making a mad dash to her house, he smiled. He took another long drag, then stubbed out his cigarette.

Without really thinking it over much, he headed over, possibly just because he wanted to see her soaked to the bone. Plus the power was out, and he had a lighter for candle and lantern use. Taking a stroll across the street, he purposely took his time, both not minding the downpour soaking him too and because hey, if they were both like that...

Subject:Dudes For Sale or....The Bachelor Auction!
Time:12:05 am
Who: Open to Everyone!
Where: The Movie Festival, Central Park
When: 4 p.m.

When the clock struck 4, Chiri bounded up onto the stage, grinning and waving at everyone. She'd been given a microphone earlier, which might have been a bad idea, considering it was now covered in stickers. Rainbows and happy faces type stickers. "Good afternoon, Domers! Welcome to happy good fun festival day, with lots of stuff going on! There should be something everyone can enjoy, and we've got an event here to help out our treasured citizens--the children! All proceeds go to the orphanage, which I will assure my very self! If anyone tries to pull a fast one, they're getting bitten! And no one knows if I have rabies or not!" she said brightly to the crowd.

"Anywho! Today, we are gathered here to honor a time tested tradition! To totally sell people off for good times for a good cause! So get out your wallets, and feast your eyes on this Dome's bravest bachelors!" Chiri winked at the crowd. "And by the way, they are all way easy on the eyes, so let's cough up some decent pricetags!" she teased. "Here's how this goes! Opening bids start out at twenty bucks! They'll go up five at a time!" she explained. "To make a bid, wave your number around, and someone'll spot it. Probably me. Then there'll be raising bids, and all that til someone comes out on top! Winners will get an evening with their shiny bought man, along with tickets to a movie at the theater! I should tell you it's got to be done within thirty days, but who the heck would wait it out that long when these men are just waiting for you?" Chiri bounced up and down on her feet. "And on that note--let the bidding begin!!"

Who: Maggie and Jack
Where: Central Park
When: Noon-ish

It was only a few hours before the festival was set to start and Maggie still had some finishing touches to put on the popcorn booth. Mickey had helped her finish the construction, but the painting and decorations? That was all her. She’d painted the whole thing red the day before and now was finishing up the lettering, incredibly pleased with the final product. With all that had been happening, the festival was something fun to look forward to, even if it was going to be a long day for her. She’d been in at work at nine, then immediately went to work on the booth. At some point, she needed to grab lunch, but not until the booth was done. The paint needed time to dry and then she could eat. If nothing else, she’d stuff her face with popcorn later that night.

Jack wasn't quite sure if he was going to be attending the festival. It wasn't really his scene, so much. But at the same time, he didn't want boredom to set in. Him and being bored weren't a good mixture. He shouldn't be left to his own devices when that happened. It was probably his biggest concern about being in the dome.

Thankfully, just as he was thinking about driving the boredom demon back, he spotted a nice, shiny distraction. He ghosted up behind Maggie, coming to a stop to stand quietly behind her and just to the left, eyes up on the lettering she was doing. "Look at you, all arts and crafts."

Mickey got Maggie’s message while he was finishing up at the diner, which meant he didn’t head home, just towards the center of things. The booths were already starting to go up, as well as decorations, and Mickey wandered through them until he spotted the brunette near the booth she was trying to get set up. “Hey Maggie,” he greeted, thinking he wasn’t quite sure why she’d opted to do this when the thing was twice her size.

Who: Maggie and Patrick
Where: Eatzy’s Diner
When: Evening

Maggie shut down the salon an hour before sunset, allowing herself plenty of time to get home. She wanted to stop by the diner and get dinner, but didn’t want to have to worry about the bat problem everyone was talking about. Bats. Biting people. She thought they only ate fruit and attacked when they had rabies, but the people that were dying weren’t dying from rabies. No one seemed to know what it was. It was creepy and she didn’t want to think about it. She also didn’t want to fix dinner.

The worst thing about living alone was eating alone, in her opinion. If she was home by herself, sometimes she forgot entirely and ended up having a piece of fruit right before she went to bed. She couldn’t do that all the time, though, and she didn’t feel like cooking, which was why she wandered into the diner and took a seat at the counter. It was a nice place to socialize if other people were around, though it wasn’t as intimidating as the bar.

Where: Maggie's Salon
When: Morning

“What can you do with it?” Angelo asked her as he sat down in the chair and pulled the beanie off his head, leaving the unruly and now far too long raven coloured mop to flop around his face. He had, admittedly, been putting off getting a haircut for far too long now - which was the reason for the fact he looked like a cross between medusa and a poodle. It was laziness and different priorities, rather than money, since he had made a deal with Maggie to give her brother free music lessons in return for her expert help in taming the forest which sat on top of his head whenever he needed it.

It was a nice enough afternoon, so Maggie had chosen to sit out on the front porch and read, while her siblings were up in their rooms doing their homework. Except they weren’t really their rooms, since they didn’t sleep there. They just came over after school and hung out, then went back to the orphanage for dinner and bedtime. It drove her crazy that they couldn’t just live with her, and she posed the question to the board on an almost monthly basis, but at this point she was used to the routine. She had no appointments this afternoon, which meant she should have been helping out on a farm for a little extra cash, but things had been so crazy lately that she wanted a break, a nice quiet day and a good book.
