Who: Frankie and Lucas
When: Early evening
Where: The market

Once Frankie had helped Riley check the perimeters of the ranch, she had returned inside to find Mrs. Haggerty working on dinner. It was an awe-inspiring thing, having the patience and capability to make enough food for the majority of the employees and boarders of the ranch, but somehow Mrs. Haggerty pulled it off. Frankie had a feeling she would have been living off of canned soups and diner food if Riley hadn’t had the sense to hire the older woman as his housekeeper.

She poked around the kitchen for awhile, hoping to get a taste of whatever it was Mrs. Haggerty was actually preparing. Given the cold weather, it seemed like there was going to be a huge pot of soup, which was just fine with Frankie. They talked for a bit - or rather Frankie talked and Mrs. Haggerty nodded along - before the older woman realized she needed a few things for the pantry. Of course, Frankie offered to run to the market and pick them up, and five minutes later, she had her jacket and boots on and was on her way.

That's just another example of me walking around with my foot in my mouth. )

Who: Frankie and Riley
Where: The cattle ranch
When: Late afternoon

Riley had spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Lia. He was still grinning when he emerged from his room to keep his meeting with the vet who was sure to be there at any moment. He ran into Tom as he was fishing out a cookie but the cookie went uneaten as Tom told him about the people found dead over night. “They looked like animal attacks. Like them wolves that blew through here a while ago,” Tom said and shook his head.

“I’m going to go out and check the fences. Make sure the barn doors are secure before dark. The vet’s coming as well. I want you to take care of it. And Tom, I’m not kidding. Get it done.” He caught Mrs. Haggerty leaving her quarters with Sophia in tow. He kissed the little girl on the top of her head and sent her to play so he could explain things to Mrs. Haggerty. “We need to be sure the house is shut tight. I’m checking the fences but I’m sure Savannah or one of the other boarders can help you. Lia needs to know too but I need to run. Keep Sophia safe.”

You could easily be implying that you've got something naughty on your mind with Mrs. Pollard, and you require a third person to take part )

Who: Clementine and Frankie
When: Afternoon
Where: Clementine’s

Despite the weather sucking, Frankie was working fairly hard and efficiently throughout the morning. Once she finished, she grabbed a quick bite to eat and then showered, washing the muck and mud from her body. After changing into a pair of jeans and a flannel shirt, Frankie pulled on her boots, got her dirty work clothes in the wash and then grabbed an umbrella to head out with a tin canister in her hand. The rain wasn’t as bad as the day before, but it was still miserable outside, and with the power still out, Frankie didn’t want to spend her day holed up in her room, reading or writing by candle light. The crappy weather was at least allowing her to catch up some with the people she knew and liked in the dome. Maggie had cut her hair before, and Frankie had been able to see Gin for a bit before the barn dance. She might have run by the pub to say hi to Lochlan, or any of the O’Reilly’s, really, but with the power out, she figured they were still closed.

So she ended up at Clementine’s, hopping onto the porch and lowering the umbrella so she could knock. She had no idea if Clementine was actually home, but if not, she figured she could just leave the canister in front of the door for her.

Who: Frankie and Maggie
When: Morning
Where: The salon

Frankie was running late for her hair appointment. She really sort of loathed calling it that, because it had nothing to do with curling or styling and everything to do with allowing Maggie to cut about an inch of her hair off to get rid of split ends for about another month or so. It was simple, and probably wouldn’t take that long, but Frankie didn’t trust herself with her own hair and a pair of scissors. Besides, this way she got to say hello to Maggie and help out her business too, in a monetary kind of way.

With the skies so cloudy and the wind picking up, they had tried to get the horses and cattle settled before the storm started, so Frankie left the ranch later than she had meant to. Thankfully she didn’t live too far from Maggie’s, and the weather nudged her along, the wind keeping her from getting distracted by something, or someone else, and forgetting her appointment all together. Her hair whipped about her face, creating a curtain of red as she stood on Maggie’s door step and knocked loudly. Hopefully Maggie remembered the appointment. Frankie had seen her the night before at the barn dance with a few beers, so a hangover was always a possibility.

Who: Frankie and Gin
When: Early evening
Where: Encore

Frankie had finished up her duties on the ranch a little later than usual, but with the Boss Man indisposed, so to speak, she hadn’t thought anyone really minded it, since her job hadn’t held anyone up from leaving for the day. She knew of the barn dance going on at… well, the barn. A barn, and Frankie thought about checking it out herself. She was even dressed in conjunction with the theme, with her jeans and red, flannel shirt that clashed horribly with her hair. Of course, Frankie considered it a non-conformist fashion statement. Quirky, if you will.

But instead of heading for the barn after cleaning up, Frankie wandered in the direction of Encore. She hadn’t seen Gin in a day or so, and Frankie thought it was her friendly duty to invite Gin along, if she wanted to go. Getting to Encore took a bit longer than it probably should have, as Frankie was distracted by a couple of shops along the way and found herself browsing a bit before remembering her intended destination.

She opened the door to Encore, stepping inside and immediately scanning the place for her friend. “Gin?”
