Hello, I'm Iggy, and I don't think any of you know me, but here goes: when I was here before, there was someone who had a tradition that she called the Orphan's Christmas.
She's not here any more, but it's a good tradition. Those of you who don't have anywhere to go on Christmas Eve and Christmas day are welcome to come to my place: [coordinates, in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains]
There'll be food, and games, and probably movies, all I ask is that you bring your own pillow and blanket if you have it, that's the one thing I haven't managed to stock up on yet. |

So, weirdest thing.
I woke up this morning, just now, in a house I haven't been in for ten years, but ... nothing's changed. The utilities are still on, house is intact, just smells a little dusty, like I've been on vacation or something.

Ah, so it seems I've had two prior selves show up in this world. Well, to make things abundantly clear for you lot, I've no knowledge of you personally unless I say otherwise, I've never been very interested in flirting with strange sorceresses, and I've become less interested in tossing subjects into the bog over the past couple decades. I save that only for certain occasions. I've plenty of oubliettes that work just as well as making one smell awful.
I only bothered looking because of this woman that my son seems to show concern in, even if she also seems to be an impudent brat who does not know to question a king's authority. It seems that she was speaking the truth. However, I see no discussion of her being pregnant, much less having a child. Looks as though she might have been caught up in whatever clash this world's going through presently. |

So, I'm getting into the swing of things. I keep dodging phone calls from this girl Carys' agent, 'cause... I don't know if I'm cut out to actually BE her. We'll see.
HOWEVER, what I really wanted to know were three things:
1) is there anyone out there from New York City?
2) is there anyone out there from the late 1980's/early 1990's?
3) is there anyone out there who's supposed to be dead, back home?
Just trying to find some folks to bond with, and overlaps in our personal histories is a good place to start, right? Thank you!

So. I've been living this new life for about a week now and apparently this is a place I can talk frankly about stuff and not have people get all WTF on me. Before anyone asks, though, I have seen the website and that is an eye-bleeding experience I never want to endure again.
But yes, the recent rumours surrounding Paris Hilton's sudden disappearance? That, it would seem, has something to do with me, although how exactly I caused her to no longer exist is something no-one seems able to explain to me. Suffice it to say that I will do my best to ensure that her absence is not felt too keenly on the party scene.
