I have gone to a place called Starbucks, and tried something called coffee. It is magnificent. It comes in so many flavors. There is one called egg nog, so I tried that. Someone told me that egg nog is another kind of drink that is cold and tastes like custard and I like that as well!
But mostly I very much like this coffee. So much so, that I have written a song about it. It isn't complete yet, but I will sing it for anyone who wishes, once I'm done.
I've very much missed writing music. All of these new flavors are fantastic. I suppose I don't mind this place as much as I thought I did. |

Okay, the first floor of the Dragonfly is finished being renovated, so this Friday is the official re-opening of movie night! Everyone is welcome. The theater room has tons of couches, so feel free to drop by! It's an all night thing, and if you fall asleep--hey, it's an inn! That's what people do there. |

Rory! I found a new coffeeshop. Coffee boy is totally adorable and pretty much the opposite of Luke, but I have no complaints!

Seriously, those flying monkeys were so scary! Why did anyone let their children see that movie?
And don't even get me started on Willy Wonka. Gene Wilder is such a creeper in that movie.

I hesitate to allow myself to believe that I was somehow sucked up by a tornado and dropped into a world not unlike my own, but wholly different.
Because if I were to allow myself to believe that, then I'd need to find Scully and dish out a big "I told you so".

I feel a little bit better, but I'm still not going back to school until I feel a lot better. I can't risk infecting my kids, and I know that's irrational, but I don't care. And I can't fly for a while, so I'm just going to lay in bed and watch bad made for TV movies (which is pretty redundant, but okay). |
