Today, a certain minority of fans of Dethklok chose to express their enthusiasm about the new album's release in a tragic and unprecedented manner. This was not our intention. It is our wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the victims of these actions. Actions which we do not condone, endorse, or encourage in any way. These individuals are not affiliated with Dethklok or the company as a whole. They do not represent any of the band's members, employees, or any other entities associated with the company.
We urge the media and the press to view these acts as individual and random, and not a widespread epidemic. The music is not dangerous. It is created simply to be enjoyed, like all music. And as with anything created, there will always be a few who would perceive within it a message that simply does not exist, and take that to the extreme. With the internet these false ideas can be exchanged and mutated even further, made larger than it would seem to be possible.
We hope these matters are resolved quickly by the proper authorities, and that those few who have taken it upon themselves to act out in this way receive the help they need.

Oh, hey, so, uh. Our new album came out today, so that's probably why there's more murders and fires and riots and badass stuff going on than most Tuesdays. Because Tuesdays usually really fucking blow. Nothing good ever happens on a Tuesday so that's why this came out today. So when you're old, and decrepit, and pooping on yourself, you can think back and go 'hey, that one Tuesday back that one time was pretty badass'. |

Haven't needed a smoke or a snort since I got back. I can't believe it took me that long to realize that. I want, but I don't need. And want is so much easier to deny.
I was about to start carving myself up the other night. I remember every scar by heart, I could have replicated my old self easy. I stopped. Most of those scars were earned, and it doesn't feel right to redo them. But my body is still too... Untainted. Getting rebranded today started me thinking. Finally I know what I want, but I don't know how to go about it. Get a tattoo, or scarification? The tattoo won't be enough to satisfy my pain needs, but they come in colors. Of course, an elaborate tat is just going to get cut up eventually, this is why I've never bothered to get one before. A scar design can get diced and just look like random old wounds after a time.
