08:25 pm [bluefall] [Link]	Apparently Wein got the memo McDuffie having gotten booted off JLA for telling it like it is, DC passed the baton to Robinson, but he was still too busy with CRY ~~THAT THE WRITING'S SO BAD~~ FOR JUSTICE to jump on right away, I guess, because they've got Len Wein doing a filler arc about the Royal Flush Gang. Which I'm actually rather liking, for reasons which are probably fairly obvious under the cut. Not long ago, bluejaybirdie suggested a Huntress is Awesome Week, and I, along with chengar and scottyquick , agreed that was a good idea. Since then, though, there has been little follow-up. As such, I have decided to act unilaterally in kicking off Huntress is Awesome Week. So I decided to start with a few scans of Huntress shooting and critically wounding a few Justice Leaguers. 06:08 pm [lipsofpoison] [Link]	DCU Holiday Special As requested by ladymirth, scans from last years DC Holiday Special. In A Day Without Sirens, there are posters up advertising a day without guns, knives, etc. Despite Jim Gordon's complete disbelief, there are 24 hours without a single 911 call and a downtrodden Jim is much cheerier when he meets Batman, who seems quite happy himself. ( 2 scans under the cut ) In It's a Wonderful Night, Dick runs into trouble while trying to hand deliver a special present for Tim. He then discovers Tim with Owen Mercer at a showing of 'It's A Wonderful Life'. ( 2 scans under the cut ) In The Night Before Christmas, the Teen Titans take a christmas break and go hang out. Tim is a bit emo and he and Cassie reflect at Rockerfeller Centre. ( 2 scans under the cut ) In Party Animal, John Stewart (Green Lantern) and Roy Harper (Red Arrow), are late for the Christmas party, which even Batman is attending. They bring Shaggy Man along to give S.T.A.R labs a break, who gets spooked by the singing. Let's face it, you would too. It all ends with a good partying. I'm fairly sure I own the comic and just hadn't read it in a long while, and I've been trying to find it now, but I don't know where to look.
