Crazy Huntress is an image that's she had (and at times deserved) and still has for those not overly familiar with the character. (i.e. BFTC "The Network") Here's a look at a time in the early part of Helena's career showing just how awesome, competent and uncrazy she could be. The series is told mostly out of order regarding the life of Savior 28, a Superman/Captain America pastiche who has decided the time has come to really change the world. It is narrated by Dennis McNulty, his former sidekick who later assassinated him. Here is the CBR full preview. Let's hope Savior 28 didn't say "hip time, daddy-o" too often. 05:40 pm [porringer] [Link]	Mr Miracle - really as awesome as you all said So, without you guys at s_d I never would have heard of Blue Beetle, or Booster Gold, or Mr Miracle, or Big Barda. I never would have been at my first ever comics' fair, looking through boxes. I wouldn't have looked at the section labelled Mr Miracle and I would have missed HOLY SHIT, YOU GUYS! THE MOTHER LODE! 50p each! I was very restrained and only bought 8 issues. 02:43 pm [perletwo] [Link]	Mr. Miracle's funeral, Justice League America #40 I had a request in an earlier JLI post I did for a page of Superman and Batman talking after Mr. Miracle's funeral. Naturally, I can't just do the one page, because the whole funeral is so awesome. Six pages of a 22-page comic, plus preview (plus a few non-comic images), not my scans. So yeah, starts out with big fight with Despero, which J'onn ends... ( but at what price? ) BTW, this seems as good a post as any to throw this out there. It didn't strike me back in the 80s because I hadn't seen the movie, but now that I've got both the first JLI trade and the Omen series box set, I'm wondering if deMatteis modeled his Max Lord on Sam Neill as the adult Damien Thorn? Not long ago, bluejaybirdie suggested a Huntress is Awesome Week, and I, along with chengar and scottyquick , agreed that was a good idea. Since then, though, there has been little follow-up.
