Saiyuki 100 Word Challenge

“What the hell were you thinking?!” snapped Sanzo.

Hakkai shrugged, or as much as he could with all the bandages wrapped around him.

“You can’t take off your limiters,” scolded Sanzo. “The chances of you going berserk are much greater here.”

Hakkai remembered the blood soaking his hands, the tearing of tender flesh, and the terrifying feeling of enjoying the destruction.

“I won’t hesitate next time,” Sanzo said coldly, “to pull the trigger.”

The corners of Hakkai’s lips twisted into a smile, insanity glinted behind his eyes. “I believe that would be an act of mercy, don’t you think, Sanzo?”

The Sanzo-ikkou experienced their first kiss last week and receive 10 points!  The Homura-tachi thinks love and romance is a waste of time and the Kou-tachi thinks kissing gives you cooties.

Have mercy!

To have mercy is to have compassion and/or pity on someone and show them kindness.  It may be that someone is being saved from a bad situation or that someone is being forgiven and saved from a maximum punishment.  Some people are merciless and therefore harsh nd cruel toward others who are suffering.

Do the Sanzo-ikkou have mercy for the latest youkai enemy? Would Hakkai ever participate in a mercy killing? Does Ni ever show any of his test subjects mercy? Is Homura merciless? Does Sanzo think "oooh have mercy!" every time he sees Gojyo flirting with some woman? And don't forget the merciful goddess!
