And like, it will be the WHOLE FLOOR too.   I'm throwing open my door at about 3 for the pregame show and drinks and the usual chips and all.  Sam said he has beer at his, and Madden and some of his games.  Pia is cooking in her place.   Party can go into the hallway, there will be some poker tables out there, but what good is a Superbowl party if you can't see the game?  (Though everyone will be HEARING the game from my place, all the way up to the tower!)

I don't know who the FUCK decided to let themselves into my apartment today, but I have some very good ideas. You owe me a six pack for the two beers you drank - and do not bring some cheap hipster ass motherfucking PBR to my door - and if you touch my fucking PS3 again, I will hunt you down and break your goddamned fingers and call it in as self defense during a home invasion. While I don't have a lot of room in my apartment, perhaps we can spread out into the hallway (if no one's opposed--what say you, my neighbor in #209?) or maybe have something in the lobby the weekend of the 17th.

Speaking of treats... I have the first batch of Christmas cookies up for grabs. They're just plain chocolate chips and I had to leave some back with Dad but I still managed to smuggle 4 dozen back here. First come, first serve. Unless you offer really good bribes and then I'll set some aside. ;)

Are you going away for the holiday? I gather Thanksgiving is rather a bigger deal than I had imagined.

In an AWESOME stroke of poor timing & bad luck, my car died literally on the way to buy Christmas presents. One late-night tow and a shiny new transmission later, I need some extra pocket money. I'm actually pretty handy, I really do windows, and I'm a passable tutor for anything EMT/anatomy (no jokes plz) related. Any takers?

Would anyone of you be willing to help me with a costume for the party this weekend? I know it's a bit short notice, but with taking the bus back and forth from school and my assignments and all, I haven't really been able to find anything.

I'll be in D1 when I'm not at work, and I'm looking forward to meeting my new neighbors as time permits. I run a few growing civil and religious rights advocacy organizations, most notably an interfaith education/tolerance program. Hey everyone. My name's Elijah - or Eli if you want, most people call me that - and I just moved into the building. Do people actually use this forum thing or no? It seems like a cool idea. But anyway, I'm sorry if the traditional 'moving in' noises are annoying. No one seems to be on the ninth floor so it's pretty quiet up here? I don't have much stuff anyway so it didn't take me long to get situated. I've been hearing horror stories about the elevator but so far it's worked fine for me. And apparently a girl was beaten in the park nearby? No way I can tell my dad that. He'd make me come home faster than a stupid meme moves on the internet

I'm a native Californian so I didn't move here from any strange exotic land, I'm taking community college classes, and I hope to study Astronomy someday. And the song 'California Gurls' just sucks, sorry, but it's true. That's probably all boring, isn't it? I don't have a car so I'm a big advocate for public transportation. I don't even have my license so But I'd really rather hear about you so I'll just stop typing. Uh
