Have you heard from Rylee? It's been three days and I'm trying to not freak out here but to me it's just bizarre that he'd miss a skype sex session and not even send me a text message. I'm trying really hard to not freak out and why am I even writing this to you because I don't know if we even get along since my boyfriend is the main reason for our bickering, not that you're not annoying on your own but I guess you're an OK guy. His mom doesn't know anything and hasn't heard anything but oh well shit I guess it's better to post this and ask instead of just sitting here.

Well, I'm back from out of town. Spent Christmas sleeping on a flight, but I had a pretty good meal in the hotel prior to that. The Return of the Jedi was on TV, so not bad.

Did everyone else enjoy their Christmas?

Happy Holidays, whatever your beliefs may be. My usual L.A. holidays plans were cancelled, much to my dismay, so I was thinking of hosting a dinner at my apartment for anyone that isn't traveling home.

So uh...hi. I hope I haven't caused too much of a disturbance these past few days. My name is Eleanor Rochester, I just moved in on the second floor. I tried my best to be quiet, but awkward and heavy pieces of furniture made it rather hard sometimes. The delivery men weren't nearly as concerned about being quiet as I was. I'm just about done though, now it's just down to rearranging a few pieces of furniture here and there to get them into their proper spots. Sometimes you can't tell if you've got everything where it needs to be until you look at it a few times, y'know?

So...guess that's all. Just wanted to say sorry for my possible noise. If I disturbed you, I will do my best to make it up to you. I know the traditional exchange between new neighbors is some sort of baked good or whatever, but I think you'd hate me more if I did something like that. I can make you a light up snowman instead? It's a bit more permanent than cookies, but it's much easier on your stomach. Unless you try to eat it. Hopefully no one will do that though.

This is supposed to be the day that Buddha achieved enlightenment, or Nirvana, under the Bodhi tree, so it's time for rice, milk, a lot of meditation, and lighting a fake fig tree in my apartment to represent the bodhi tree.

As some of you already know, I'll be deploying at the end of the month.

I'll be gone for about a year and should return next December so long as everything works out fine! Which it should. I'm keeping the apartment and my girlfriend, Charlie, will probably come and go from it so if you happen to see her entering or leaving, please don't think she is breaking in. It would also be wonderful if you could just make sure she's okay because I'm a bit worried about her.

For those of you who I haven't been able to tell this news to face to face, I'm sorry. It's been a rather busy couple of weeks! I hope y'all have a nice Christmas. Maybe I'll see you before I leave but if not, happy new year as well!

Hi everyone, apparently this is the place to make yourself known to your neighbours. I'm Jenny and some of you may have noticed me moving in last night, sorry about that.

My removal guy had to be rushed to hospital yesterday afternoon so I didn't end up driving down until 11. Not that any of you really needed all that detail. Anyway, I'm originally from Scotland, but I've lived for the past year in Costa Mesa where I still work at their renaissance centre. I suppose I should also let you all know that I have a dog but I promise he won't make any noise. He's not barked at a single human being for the all of the time I've had him.

If I did wake anyone up I'd love to make it up to you with a cup of tea? Just drop me a line, I'll be in all weekend attempting to unpack all of these boxes.

What an odd way to make one's presence known. You begin, I suppose, with the basics. My name is Alexander Dahlin. You may have read some of my work already. Inane novels, mostly, of no use to anyone. People are just throwing money around these days; write a book, make a million. Own a pretty face, you're a movie star. Strange world. And this? Well, I've certainly never lived in a building like this, and with such a ridiculously strange grand, useful form of communication. No doubt it will prove to be a pain in my ass wonderful way to get to know each and every one of you. Given my profession, I've quite an extensive personal library. Do feel free to contact me at any point if you're interested in perusing it. I only ask that you return whatever you borrow in the pristine condition it was left to you. It's only polite, after all, and friendships are based on mutual trust. Or so I've heard.

Having only moved in this weekend, I'm still getting used to the lay of the land. Does anyone know of a good tailor? Highly underutilized commodity in this day and age. Gentleman really should pay more attention to the little details in life.

Due to my nocturnal habits, please avoid knocking on my door during what would be considered normal hours. I enjoy the night and sleep through the mornings. An interruption to my sleep can be overlooked, however, if you bear gifts of alcohol or delectable thighs. Lastly, please, for the love of all that is holy, only refer to be as Alexander (or Mr. Dahlin, if you're the formal sort). I simply cannot stomach responding to Alex or any version of an obnoxious nickname.

Hello everyone, I'm Michael Wolf and am just starting to move my things in today, yes on thanksgiving, happy holidays to me. Anyway, I saw this public forum and thought I'd introduce myself as other people apparently have in the past. I'm originally from England, but have been living in California since college. I don't know how long I'll have to live here, it's sort of doctors orders to live somewhere a little less stressful and he thought the beach would be a lovely place to go. I don't see how sitting on the beach with my blackberry is any different than sitting in traffic on my blackberry, but what do I know, I'm not a pill pushing doctor.

I'm the director of The Projector movies, as well some other gems. I'm currently working on directing The Projector 4, AND a spin off series is in the works where we are going to make full length versions of the films within the projector movies. They should be released one by one on dvd and blueray.

Happy thanksgiving. Can someone tell me some good night spots to go to in this area?

Hello everyone! I wanted to formerly well, sending this as a group message might not be that formal invite you all to my apartment on Thanksgiving, if you happen to not have any other plans. I'm hoping to try and make a Thanksgiving meal and it would be wonderful if you could all join Charlie and myself. The more the merrier! We can have the meal in the evening or late afternoon, whichever would work better for you all. I just wanted to send out a message now so that I can figure out how big the turkey needs to be before the big date!
